Mercy! If all the men in Marfa, Texas, are THIS hot, it may be time to move! From a Sex Machine to a Sex God, Marie Force is back with another sexy standalone that burns the pages. There’s nothing like a best friends to lovers romance, and Marie has written such a delicious read!

Garrett and Lauren have been friends since childhood. Always by each others’ side, they supported each other through Lo’s abusive marriage and Garrett having to return home to take care of his family after his father passed away. All of their friends see that these two are meant to be together, that they have that something that could be very special. Everyone can see it except Lauren and Garrett. One night the two give in to their attraction only for the experience to be a total disaster. The two feared for their friendship and decided to remain the very best of friends.

Garrett has a rather… salacious reputation with tourists to Marfa and rightfully earns the moniker “Sex God”. The man is absolutely DIVINE, and he knows it. He thinks he’s keeping his activities hidden from his friends. He couldn’t be more wrong. Lauren has lost her confidence after her failed attempt with Garrett. Apparently she’s not really good at this sex thing. Now that Garrett has fulfilled his duty to his family he’s ready to spread his wings and fly away from Marfa but when he learns that Lauren feels that she’s no good at sex, he vows to show her just how wrong she is.

Wow, the chemistry between Lauren and Garrett is red hot but what makes their relationship so special is the friendship between them. It’s so genuine, honest, and comfortable. They have a bond worth protecting. Still it’s easy to see that there is a very real and very true love between them. So many sweet moments…but just as many grab your fan moments as well. Garrett certainly EARNS his reputation and made me laugh out loud as well. Lauren is a great match for him but has her insecurities and a past keeping her from all that she wants. It was nice to see Honey and Blake and secondary characters from Sex Machine in this book as well.

Steamy, sexy, funny! Another great trip to Marfa! Great job, Marie!

A sizzling hot stand-alone contemporary romance!

I inherited a life I never intended to live.
I’ve upheld my responsibilities admirably.
And I’ve taken care of my own needs privately…
I’m biding my time until I can get the hell out of here.
But I didn’t count on having unfinished business
With one of my very best friends…

When a man has a certain “reputation” to uphold,
There can be no unhappy customers left behind.
Lauren is a loose end that won’t be tied up no matter how hard I try.
And I try hard. Really, really… hard.

Sex God, a stand-alone contemporary romance, is the much-anticipated follow-up to Sex Machine.
