Review – Dirty Deeds by Stella Rhys

Dirty Deeds by Stella Rhys

This year I promised myself that I would start reading some new authors, and in all honesty I’ve have had my eye on Stella for a while and thought NOW IS THE TIME I’M GOING IN. I mean after seeing that cover how could you NOT want to read this book! The cover is perfection and now that I’ve read the book, I realise it’s even more perfect! And so my first foray into Stella Rhys was Dirty Deeds and it will not be my last!

From the very start this book was addicting. Hotter than hot. And just SO FREAKING GOOD!

I think this is one of the hottest books I’ve read in a while. The connection and tension was HOT. The foreplay and build up was HOT. Everything was HOT. But this book also has lots of hidden depth, lots of emotion and feeling. I fell in love with Emmett. He was just ugh, a loveable, cocky, dirty, hot asshole with the sweetest, most caring side to him that made me swoon & melt. Just everything he did and does is just pure magic and sweet and sexy and just WOW.

Aly was a great female character with sass and wit and passion. My only one problem with Aly was, I felt she was sometimes too in her head and so quick to blame Emmett. My feeling towards Aly may be stricter because of how much I loved Emmett. He clouded my vision. Stella writes her hero’s SO WELL. LOL.

I am thrilled I picked Stella as my first new author of 2018. I cannot wait to read more of her work, I’ve even gone back and clicked some of her older work!

4.5 dirty but so, so good stars!

Growing up, we hated each other.

Now, we’re f**kin’ roommates for the summer.

ALY
It’s been twelve years since I’ve seen him, but loathing Emmett Hoult still runs in my blood. Thanks to the hell he wreaked on my teenaged life, I’ve avoided the prick like the plague. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and after a fire destroys my apartment during the most important week of my life, I’m suddenly as desperate as they come.

Hence the roommate situation.

It’s his summer home. His family said he wouldn’t be around. They said I’d never run into him.

But oh, did I run into Emmett Hoult.

And in the worst way possible.

EMMETT
I didn’t expect to see her ever again, let alone the way that I did.

But now that she’s back in my life, I’m not screwing things up. She still hates me — I know that — but it won’t stop me from chasing the only two goals I’ve made for this summer.

Making things right.

And making her mine.
