Football is my favorite sport to watch on TV. I love the fast pace and fierce completion. I love the game. I LOVE FOOTBALL! Hot guys in tight pants with massive muscles scrambling over the ball all day long? Sign me up! Football gets my heart racing and my blood pumping with adrenaline. You’ll find me in front of the TV or occasionally at the game during NFL season where I am so engaged that I should be a sideline commentator. I live and breathe this sport like it’s my religion.

While I have been stalking Sosie Frost’s hot covers and drooling over the accompanying book synopses for her football series for many weeks, I had not met one book by this author until now. Until Happily Ever All-Star hit my kindle and I was lost to this football romance. Before I dove in, I could not help but shoot a few eyegasms at the cover because I’m a football fangirl and football players are hot.

Because 7 points = a touchdown (counting that extra point of course)….

The chemistry is combustible. A collision of current that can’t be broken. One that is a higher power than friendship, more akin to fate. Rory and Jude can’t ignore the feelings that flow when they are near each other making the fake relationship feel real. Though to make it real, they have to at least test the waters with a kiss and oh what a kiss it was.

You have to love a twist on the friends-to-lovers romance where the heroine is pregnant at the beginning instead of the end. A story where the hero is really a huge hero—one that will do anything for his friend who is quickly becoming more. A story where lines are blurred to where they cross many times.

For Jude, Rory is not a distraction but a reason to fight for the game. Fight for him as injuries keep mounting up and may pave the way to the end. Fight for the possibility of more. Though before the players have even warmed up, trust may be the penalty that stops the game for good.

Lines and blurred. Friends hover into lovers’ territory. The football game and season are on the line while two hearts are as well.

I was in the stands cheering for the Ironside Rivets, I was in the locker room listening to the team pep talks, and I was on the field chasing the ball with the players as feels were flying. I was in this game for the win.

Happily Ever All-Star is a fierce and flirty football romance that oozes spice and sweetness, an all-star story indeed. I could not help but cheer for love to win the game. This raw and rousing romance is fresh, flirty, and fabulous and I was glued to this sensational sports story like my favorite team playing football. I loved this refreshing read and now I need to date the rest of Sosie Frost’s books.

Can you fake a happily-ever-after?

Oh, the steam and instant chemistry between these two! Scorching hot encounters that neither one could forget. Neither could this reader! Delaney and Ethan burn, burn, burn! The family feud left me speechless and angry. How can family be this cruel? The story is wonderfully full of angst, heartbreak, misunderstandings and want for something that should never be. Twist and turns kept me turning the pages. I fell just as hard for the secondary characters – Pops and Phoebe – as I did for Ethan and Delaney. Especially for Pops.

Forbidden Fling is a fantastic look into Wildwood! The Hart sisters, Avery and Chloe, are set to come home soon, and I very excited to see what happens next in this series! This was a fun and fabulous read. Great job, Skye!

She lifted a hand to his face and cupped his jaw. “You’ve been through enough. You have a great life here. A good job, great friends, everyone in town respects and likes you, all the single girls can’t wait for the day you look their way. I’m not going to come into town for a week, or a month, turn everything upside down, and leave. That’s not right.” She ran her thumb over his cheek and smiled. “So we’re good?”

Panic blipped through his chest. He covered her hand with his to keep her from leaving, while he fought for something to say that would fix everything and make her stay. But she was so freaking rational, so goddamned logical, he was having a hard time finding anything to work with. And with the bar, his grandfather, his family, his aunt, and his job in the middle of this, he didn’t even know if he should.

“Delaney, let’s—”

“It’s not a big deal.” She curled her fingers around his and lowered their hands. “And I’m not going to make it one. I just wanted you to know so you wouldn’t worry. I’m good, so we’re good.” She nodded. Smiled again. “Okay?”

He shifted on his feet.

One little word.

“No.” He heaved a sigh and rubbed his eyes. “No, it’s not okay.”

Ethan softened his mouth, tilted his head, and kissed her again. This time, she whimpered and her body loosened. The feel of her melting against him pushed heat through his body. He moaned and slid the hand at her neck into the silky strands of her hair, and when she parted her lips to gasp, he pushed his tongue into her mouth.

She opened to him immediately, hungrily, and met the stroke of his tongue. Review – The Dom Games by Rachel Robinson

Reading The Dom Games is like watching a reality TV show. Its addicting, has you wanting to cover your eyes while peeping through a gap in your fingers. Its heart poundingly good, so much so it steals your breath and leaves you in a dizzy state. And it’s SO GOOD! Despite the twists and turns, the stabs to the gut and the heart breaking reality, you keep on. Watching right until the end, to see the finale. And then get really subdued when it’s all over.
That’s me now, subdued, because it’s all over. I didn’t want it to end.

The Dom Games had piqued my interest for a while now, seeing Rachel’s book info and trailer had me thinking so many things before sitting down to read. Some may think this is just another BDSM book and not give it a chance. But do, because this book has such a fresh twist on BDSM, it’s something I’ve not read before and it totally hooked me.

The Dom Games, features Dominic Reed. Alpha, Dom, billionaire with a godlike body and mouth of sin with his own production company, who produces the TV show The Dom Games where 10 subs go against one another for a cash prize and a contract with the Dom. Enter Kayla, purely in it for the money, sarky mouthed, uncontrollable and totally unaware of what she’s signed up for. Not something a Dom wants. But you see that’s the beauty of this book. Because that’s all our Dominic does want.

And so begins our trip into reality. Dom and Kayla’s relationship builds intensely. As a reader I fell in love with them. Kayla’s Sassy mouth left Dom weak, and Dom’s dirty mouth left Kayla panting. It was a match made in bookworm heaven. But the blasted TV show still had to go on. Thus adding the heart pounding moments and the intense, breath taking moments that were just SO FREAKING GOOD. The moments that kept me hooked. The moments that cracked my heart but wouldn’t allow me to step away. The moments that make a spectacular book even better.

Because that’s what this book is, spectacular. Its exciting, electric. The heat between Dominic and Kayla is so strong it sizzles through you while reading. The sex scenes are so dirty, that I found myself BLUSHING, while fanning myself, A LOT! But it’s also cram packed full of feels..from rip roaring humour courtesy of Kayla’s sassy attitude, to heartbreaking ugly cry moments from Kayla’s inner monologue during the TV show scenes.

As a reader, I went though so many emotions in this book.. I didn’t know whether to love Dom or hate him. Slap him or climb him. Scream at him or cry. Infact now, I know I’d do all those things, but OMG my love for this man is off the charts. Literally. Off them. His journey through this book was so powerful, written so pristinely that despite all the bad, there is so much good and understanding of the man behind the Dom. And that is what makes him amazing. And what makes him and Kayla a match made in reality TV show heaven.

And now, like I said, I want more from these two. I honestly love them…and I know you will too.

Dual Review Finding Me & Always You by Stephanie Rose

Sweet, sexy, and endearing….this book was exactly what I hoped for and more! Stephanie Rose has done it again! She blew me away with Bella and Owen’s story. At first I was like “Oh no!” Do I want to see the sweet little Bella all grown up? Can my eyes handle knowing what “grown up” Bella will be doing? Cause in my eyes, she was still that sweet, just coming out of her shell, beautiful little 5 year old. The answer? YES! Yes I did want it! I loved this story, and completely fell in love with Bella, Lucas and Sam’s characters all over again. I definitely fell in love with Owen *swoon* so hard.

Bella has turned out to be as beautiful as her mother, strong, and smart! After a series of unfortunate events and rumors by twatwaffles being spread about her at school, she decides to go to college farther away from home. She didn’t want to deal with the humiliation.

…which, hello!? Turned out great for her, because she not only met Owen, she met her awesome roomy, Laura.

Owen is a hockey player. He’s a sexy Georgia boy with a southern drawl that will leaving you swooning! His sweet southern charm is every girls dream!

“You’re my stars, my sun, and my sky. You’re my whole damn universe.”

Owen’s seemingly cocky attitude leaves a bad taste in Bella’s mouth. She tries to deny her attraction to him, while Owen tries to break down her walls. He wants to show Bella who he really is. Not who everyone else says and thinks he is.

“I’m not going anywhere. I’m yours, whether or not you choose to believe that right now. And you will. I don’t quit easily, and when it comes to you, I don’t quit at all.”

“I tasted every part of her last night and I still hadn’t gotten enough–I couldn’t This girl was my drug, and I had an incurable addiction.”

*SWOOOOOON* who wouldn’t want someone to say such sweet and beautiful things to them!

I loved everything about this story! I loved Owen and Bella. I loved that we get to see Lucas and Sam again throughout the book. I even love the tension because in the end, it brought them so much closer together and showed how much love can conquer. I loved the “secrets” because in the end, you realize when you love someone and when you have a family that loves you, they’ll stick by you no matter what. They’ll always have your back and be there to protect you.

Finding me can be read as a standalone, but you do (like I said earlier) get to visit with characters from Always You. I highly recommend reading Always You, because it was just as phenomenal as Finding Me! This book was beautiful, sweet, and refreshing! I loved every second of this wonderfully written story. I couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait to see what Stephanie has in up her sleeve for her fans next!

Review – Wasted Words by Staci Hart

Reading a book is an adventure. Something that takes away everything else and propels you into a different world. Some books you just click with, some books you really enjoy.
Some books though, they speak to you, they embed themselves in you, never to be forgotten. You breathe these books, allow yourself to be consumed by them. You devour every single word, you feel every single emotion and you LOVE EVERY SINGLE SECOND. Some people have favourite books, some have favourite authors. Some have both. I have both.
You see Staci Hart is a top, TOP author of mine. Her books speak to me on a level like no other. I LOSE myself every time I pick up a Hart novel and I drown in words that light up my heart and soul. Each and every time Staci releases a new book it becomes my favourite. After reading Last Call, I said I read one of the best books I’d ever read. Then along came Wasted Words.

Going into WW I knew that by the end I’d be this soppy freaking mess, floating on a cloud of heavenly feels and ready to pour my heart out. But, now that I’m sat here, ten minutes after reading the final word I’m a soppy freaking mess of epic proportions. My heavenly cloud is a full sky and I don’t even know where to begin with the heart pouring.

From the very beginning it was hard not to feel bubbles begin in my stomach, my heart kicked up a little faster. Slowly, blissfully, the bubbles grow and pop into butterflies that flutter. The closer Cam and Tyler became the stronger those butterflies kicked up, until I was left with freaking birds flapping through me. And that was just at the first kiss!
As each and every chapter, perfectly named as always, progressed I found myself falling deeper in love. I mean Tyler, come on. He’s a walking, talking dream boat. Everything about him was just, well, perfect. No other words needed!
But you know who I fell in love with more in this book.. CAM. That little fairy, sat high on her own shelf flew down and ripped me to shreds. I’m sure, and as much as I hate to say it, some people won’t like her, they’ll call her “weak” or whatever but THEY WILL BE WRONG. Cam is REAL!
She is that person we all have in us, the one that knows our own abilities but still pulls ourselves down. Her anxieties/fears/issues are in everyone, we feel them or will feel them at some point. And those things are what solidified my love for Cam. I felt her, every single word resonated somewhere, every single fear was relatable and it made it all the more beautiful.

Together Cam and Tyler are stunning. So perfect. Just everything. I want to burn with them, burn in their fire, because burning together is bliss.

Countless times I felt myself trying to hang onto my emotions. It was pointless. They were ripped from me, along with my breath, my heart and my soul..

I highlighted so many parts of this book, took so many notes, stopped every couple of chapters just to breathe and calm the inner flames of Cam & Tyler but in the end it was no use. My smile couldn’t be any bigger, my heart couldn’t be any more full, my tears couldn’t be hotter. I’m dizzy, beautifully, blissfully dizzy. I’ve read one of the best books I’ll ever read, one that I will pick up anytime and fall in love with every time. This bookworm has fallen deep for the fairy and her giant.

Scintillating, sexy, and scandalous, Sugar Daddy is a thrilling ride of delicious deception that seizes your head and heart, leaving you aching for more. From the first few pages, Sugar Daddy cast a spell on me, seducing me like a predator luring its prey. I was gnawing at this book, quickly devouring it like a hungry lion wanting more. Needing more. This sinful and sensational soap opera-like story quickly became my guiltiest pleasure. The taste: oh so sweet. Sugar indeed.

Beautiful Sela Halstead lost her childhood innocence at the tender age of 16 when a gang of monsters took what wasn’t theirs, brutalizing a teenager on a night that has haunted her since. Sela’s self-esteem suffers, and sex that should be pleasurable is more painful.

“As with any man I’ve been sexually involved with over the years, there is a mutually beneficial exchange. I let them use my body to get off, and they in turn make me feel as if I’m worthy to let them get off.”

My heart breaks for Sela. I want to wrap my arms around her and comfort her.

Gorgeous Becket ‘Beck’ North collides with Sela at a Sugar Daddy party one night. It’s insta-chemistry and a panty-melting complication in her payback mission for Townsend. Beck is a ladies man. A bang and bolt guy. Though his women definitely leave satisfied. Sela’s sweet and sexy package, who is not part of the plan, happens to be Townsend’s best friend and business partner.

“My body has never reacted that way, and frankly, it scares me, almost to the point that I consider running…Beck North is throwing me off my game and we haven’t even gotten naked yet.”

While Sela is as beautiful like the women Beck typically meets, Beck is intrigued as she is also down-to-earth and a bit shy. Her confidence is an act that Beck sees right through, wanting to know the real Sela. The woman who has instantly captivated his body and head.

Oh Sugar Daddy, you’re a shiny gem filled with dark and light. Angst and anger. Love and hope. So many feels. I was dazzled so much that I fell deep into this seductive story that spun me into its web of deceit and deliciousness. This all-consuming and alluring adventure was over too soon. I can’t wait until Sawyer Bennett casts a spell on me again with more Sugar Daddy as I need sugar and spice, and everything naughty and nice.

Review – Hetch by River Savage

I was a bit nervous yet excited to meet River Savage’s newest novel, Hetch. It is not an MC book. I repeat: Hetch is NOT an MC book. What?!? The Queen of MC ditched the Knights for something else?!? I trust River Savage and love her captivating writing. However, I am full of mixed emotions as I begin this new adventure—blindly—choosing to ditch the synopsis and fly freely. What a ride this story was…a different kind of adrenaline rush for this River Savage MC whore.

The dedication brings tears to my eyes and I haven’t even dived into the book. Since it may indicative of what’s to come, I grab a bunch of tissues from my purse as I’m on a plane where many may see me bawl like a baby. I can already tell Hetch is not going to be as feisty, fierce, and funny as River’s MC books. No, this story is going to be heavier on the heart with a bigger message…so much bigger. I could feel the difference.

Liam ‘Hetch’ Hetcherson. Dark blond hair. Stubble. Green eyes. Tall. Muscular. All alpha. Cynical. Broken. Sarcastic. I fell in insta-love with Hetch. I want to wrap my arms around this broken man and tell him it will be okay.

Liberty Jenson. Blonde. Blue eyes. Beautiful. On a sex sabbatical. No men and no sex for six months. Though her neighbor in Apartment 9 gives her quite the porn star show. Those thin walls…so hot that she wants in on the action.

I love their chemistry, sometimes a battle of wills as both are fierce fighters who don’t want to surrender. Those kisses spark heat and speak like Hetch and Liberty can’t.

“No woman has ever managed to turn me on and piss me off at the same time.”

Just as they get closer with Liberty slowly luring Hetch out of the dark, Hetch leaves as fast as the wind. His painful past is an anchor, weighing him down. A storm, threatening to damage everything and everyone he loves.

Liberty has never wanted to get close to a man…until Hetch. This beautiful but broken man changed her. She may be the light to his dark, but he has opened Liberty up like a flower, something that no one has ever done. They are soul mates. Hetch is full of heat and heart in what is in River Savage’s best book yet. Jesse was my favorite Savage alpha until Hetch hooked on to my heart. I love Hetch who is the perfect guy. He takes what he wants, but being the badass alpha with a big heart, you want to give it to him. Give him everything. He possesses and permeates like an addiction of the best kind.

This story seduced me. Hetch stole every moment, every thought, and every feeling. So raw and so real, I was catapulted into this brilliant, broken, and beautiful book and did not want to leave. Hetch is devastatingly beautiful and a story that must be experienced. This story is so much more than a hot and protective alpha and sassy lady who falls under his spell. Hetch embraces the meaning and value of life.

Review – The Ending I Want by Samantha Towle

Once again Samantha Towle has delivered a knock out read that left my heart a humming vessel, my lungs a little breathless and my soul soaring.

The Ending I Want is stunning, a beautiful story of love, loss, pain, sadness and happiness all rolled into a beautifully crafted package.

As soon as I started The Ending I want, I knew that I was about to read another great book. All of Samantha’s books have been world class for me. And this one was no different. From the start we are swept away on a electrifying adventure of raw lust and oh so hot sex!
Liam Hunter is a walking, talking orgasm, waiting to happen. Hot, loaded and BRITISH! His swoony, dirty talking self swept me off my feet, melting my heart and knickers from the moment he started the list!
The sizzling chemistry between Liam and Taylor is brighter than the biggest firework. Reading them made me tingle from head to toe, feeling a little giddy about where there story would take me.

Of course, the underlying health issue Taylor has, is always there and threatens everything, but what I loved was how Samantha wrote the book, touching on so many good points between Taylor and Liam, that when it did blow up, it was like a sucker punch to the gut. Devastating. I wanted to cry and scream at them, for them, with them. The feels I got were explosive.

Whenever I pick up a Samantha Towle book I know I’m going to read something I’ll love. I’m yet to find a Towle book that doesn’t fit with me and that I don’t enjoy. I especially loved how Samantha featured previous heroes from her other books, I think I got as giddy as Taylor did!

Models on Top is a magnificent masterpiece of sex, seduction and a soulful second chance at love story.
This book from start to finish is like a symphony of lust filled notes and intense, emotional lyrics, that sing out in beautiful harmony.
From beginning to end Models On Top burns, sizzles and crackles from intense heat and love. Danny and Reese are so over the top in love with one another, so undeniably beautiful together that while reading Models on Top, you feel every inch of their love, every spark of their chemistry and every pulse of the simmering sexual tension.
Danny is sexy, smooth and devilishly charming. His cocky, playboy attitude, simmering smile and rock hard abs ticked all of my boxes. And not only does he pack all the looks he also brings the swoon factor. Too many times I found myself ahhh’ing along to his words of raw love and passion for Reese.
Reese is written exceptionally well along side Danny. Her love also evident but her insecurity and pain is played perfectly. As a woman reading Reese I connected to her and understood why she felt the way she did at times. But one thing that I had all the way through was faith in Reese to put her trust out there and take the chance.
Models on Top is a sublime sex-citing read that has infiltrated my heart and senses and left me full of spectacular swoony feels.
