Sci-fi isn’t my usual cup of tea but because Diana wrote it, I was not passing this up. Totally captivating read that is appropriate for young adults as well. Full of mystery and intrigue and neverending awesomeness.

Island gets transported from earth by her parents. She soon finds out she is not fully human but is in fact royalty. She has to depend on others to help her through. Will she also find the love of her life?? Read to find out!!

Park Avenue Prince is Louise Bay’s next fantastic release. I truly believe that hands down, this is Louise’s best book to date.
Louise wrote her best storyline, her best male hero and her best heroine. Louise pulled out all her cards and played all her aces with Park Avenue Prince and I adored every second of it.

Louise Bay knows how to write!! This story was impeccable. The words seduced me, captivated me, I was so drawn into EVERYTHING, that I easily read it in one sitting.

Grace and Sam are a perfect match. They have an undeniable, intense connection that burnt in the deepest parts of me. Louise gave these characters a totally different edge, changing up their back story, adding in a rags to riches aspect really, really worked. I felt I appreciated the characters more. I felt I loved them more.

Park Avenue Prince is a perfect story of love, lust, and blinding connection, rising from the ashes to bloom into a perfect union.

Tainted by Love by Gillian Jones

I truly have no idea where to begin this review. I’m a little all over the place because of this book. I don’t know where to begin.
Gillian Jones is an author who’s books push the boundaries and tackles subjects that we don’t usually see. In Tainted by Love, Gillian gives us a story pushes the boundaries to the max.

First and foremost, I have to state that this book doesn’t end traditionally, Gillian tells us this herself.. I’m sure that because of this people might not want to read this book. BUT! And here’s the kicker. This book is so powerful. So emotional. So beautiful. That you simply MUST READ it. The journey, the development, the connection and the message underneath are all done impeccably. I won’t go deep into the storyline in my review. I won’t go into the characters in too much depth. I won’t ruin it. I just won’t. What I will do is explain MY emotion. My feeling in the hope that despite the warning you will give this book a chance.

From the very first page of this book, I developed a connection to Trinity. Her resilience, strength, passion and flare all poured out of this book and into me in the most incredible way. Despite everything she deals with Gillian has made her strong and a fighter and that power makes Trinity one hell of a lead character.

Hendrix. His raw, ruthless outlook on everything drew me to him like a moth to a flame. He’s raw, protective. But light and uplifting. He’s polished and rugged all at the same time. He was amazing. I Loved him.

Despite the underlying issue that is it at the core of this book, Tainted by Love flows. The love story it blossoms is powerful and heartwarming. Emotions are high, and they also run deep inside, infiltrating the heart. These characters, their strength, their friendship, their relationship just builds and builds and builds. I felt them, believed them. Loved them. They affected me in the best way.

Tainted by Love is a journey, through life, a life that isn’t plain sailing and easy. It’s about overcoming, having hope, looking forward, chasing dreams, finding love and keeping it. It follows a different set up and may not end the way everyone wants. But it ended the way the author wanted, it ended in a way true to all the characters. To me, now, the end is perfect. So like I said before, don’t let the warning put you off. Pick up this book, read it, be consumed by it, fall in love with it, but above all else feel and understand it. Like I did. Personally I think it’s Gillian’s best book to date.

Holy crap! I now understand the meaning behind #MackAttack. Penelope Ward’s new magnificent masterpiece attacked my heart, my mind, my soul and heightened all my senses.

Everything about Mack Daddy is sweet and seductive. I couldn’t get enough of this book. Couldn’t get enough of the deep, sizzling tension that RIPPED through me while I read. Right now I’m literally BUZZING. I’m pretty sure my blood is on fire, my heart’s definitely pumping hard and fast. If there is one thing Penelope Ward has mastered during her career it’s developing AND DELIVERING angst in a way that’s believable and full of feels. That blissful, burn is something I’ve come to expect from a Ward book and once again Penelope SMASHED IT.

There was something really refreshing about the main characters in Mack Daddy. Frankie is written flawlessly. She’s really funny and sassy. Despite her “flaws”, Frankie called to something deep in me, I could relate to her in some ways, I totally connected.
Mack was EVERYTHING I needed. Everything I wanted. Mack’s seductive side meshed so well with his vulnerable, sweet side. His whole being brought me to my knees, his love and devotion, his cockyness, all of him just hit every single spot!

As well as Penelope knowing how to write angst, she ALWAYS delivers a character connection that runs just as deep. From the off, Frankie and Mack pull together like magnets. Penelope just knows how to write the most SPECTACULAR feelings and emotions into her words and how to allow her reader to get it, feel it and LOVE IT.

Review-Tru Flame by Edie Danford

My rating is 5 out of 5 stars

This book knocked me on my as* from the start. I was in no way expecting what hit as soon as the book started. Tru and Jones had their fair share of struggles in this book and my heart broke for them, but watching them slowly break down the barriers to happiness made my heart so full.

So, the book starts off with Sandra disappearing and then calling and letting the guys know that she is leaving and the baby now belongs to them. Imagine the stunned shock that shook Tru and Jones to the core. Jones was more on board and determined to make the most of it, while Tru struggled.
Tru never wanted children since his experience with parents were less than stellar. It caused a lot of contention between Jones and Tru. I was truly concerned for where their relationship was headed with how Tru was handling things.

In the end, everything is perfect and just the way it was meant to be. A happy ending for all. I absolutely loved going on this journey with Tru and Jones. I will definitely miss them.

In the final chapter of the Ember Peak series, Tru and Jones face an unexpected challenge on their road to happy ever after.

Tru and Jones never expected riding off into the sunset to be easy. Their relationship’s script has never been silver-screen smooth or shiny. But dealing with life’s boulders, washouts, and irksome little details is no problem now…because they’re facing each bump in the road together.

Review-The Ties That Bind by Rebecca Norrine

Rebecca blew me away with this one. A shorter read than her usual, but it still felt like a full length novel. It was definitely different from her usual, but I definitely loved it want to see more darker reads from her. She has a knack for pulling you into the story and captivating you completely, gripping your attention.

Fueding families. Forbidden love. A relationship that spans years before it comes back full circle. Xander and Arabella are enemies. Their families prevented them from having the relationship they always wanted.

Over three years ago, I took a leap and picked up a book by J. Kenner, Release Me, and I’m so glad I did! That first J. Kenner book began my mad love for this author’s poetic-sounding prose. This was short but sweet. I fell in love with Gideon and Jonah. Gideon has so many demons that he is doubting himself and everything in his life.
After hearing that his dyslexia is probably not going to improve much more than it currently is. He feels worthless and it broke my heart. He also has to face the father who was never a real father to him. To forgive or not forgive? That is the question!

The love between these 2 reached out to my heart. I can always count on Felice to give me all the feels.

Love is going pretty well for Gideon Marks. He’s living with his boyfriend, Jonah, and his business is thriving beyond his wildest dreams. So why is he still worried he’s not enough, and all he holds dear will slip through his fingers?

I knew to choose my words carefully. “I think you’ve been alone so long it’s colored your outlook on life. You have a hard time letting people in to help you.”

Gideon stood up, and I missed him immediately; I sat up and watched him pace the floor, holding his wine as he formulated his thoughts. My heart broke for him as I watched his inner turmoil break him down until he collapsed in the chair opposite me.

“It won’t happen.” I swung my legs off the sofa to go sit on the coffee table and face him. “I won’t let it.”

“I’m telling you. I’m perfect at ruining a good thing.”

“I’m not a good thing. I’m the best damn thing to ever happen to you.”

“I know that. But I don’t ever want you feeling like you have to stay with me because you feel sorry for me.”

I plucked the glass out of his hand and placed it on the table then stood and pulled him into my arms. “I feel many, many things for you—desire, absolute lust, but most of all, love. I’m with you because I love you, Gideon, and that’s never going to change.”

The pain in his eyes slayed me. When would he realize he deserved to be loved?

A slight smile curved Gideon’s lips. “Absolute lust huh? I think I like the sound of that.”

I absolutely love this series and that includes this book. Bo is one seriously moody alpha and Cheri is a strong willed and stubborn woman. Together they are one stubbornly hot couple.
Cheri has moved to a small town with her cousin Lamont. She considers him the only family she has left. Lamont protected her from her abusive father. She manages the only bar in town, and those nights can sometimes get quite out of hand. Cheri has eyes for Bo but also has the hots for Riser. If Bo is going to continue ignoring her, she will use Riser to make him jealous.

Bo is a former marine turned Sheriff of his small town. He has certain tastes in the bedroom so he doesn’t just take anyone to his bed. He can’t keep his mind of the hot red head, Cheri, but he doesn’t do attachments. He wants a simple hook up and that’s it. His past holds him back from love.
This book has non-stop action that will keep you on your toes. Once Cheri and Bo finally gave into their desires, the chemistry is off the charts. Bo can’t help but fall in love with the little minx that weasled her way into his heart.

My rating is 5 out of 5 stars

This book was unlike anything I’ve read by Brenda yet, and it was is so very good. I would call this a thriller/suspense romance. I’m not giving any book details per Brenda’s request so I will just tell you that if you want a book that keeps you on your toes and is also a forbidden romance, thisn is definitely a 5 star read
