Rebecca blew me away with this one. A shorter read than her usual, but it still felt like a full length novel. It was definitely different from her usual, but I definitely loved it want to see more darker reads from her. She has a knack for pulling you into the story and captivating you completely, gripping your attention.

Fueding families. Forbidden love. A relationship that spans years before it comes back full circle. Xander and Arabella are enemies. Their families prevented them from having the relationship they always wanted.

It all comes down to loyalty. When Jayce puts a hit on Arabella, Xander has to decide whose more important, family or the love of his life.
