Review for Only For Him

This is book 1 of what looks to be a great series coming our way. We get young love that was not spoken of for years. Then they graduate, and everything changes. I literally gasped at the last words. Can’t wait to dig into book 2.

Grayson Ford and Emma Kinglsey–close since they were kids, opposites in every way. He’s the stuff high school crushes are made of, Mister Popular, and captain of every team. She’s artsy, cute, and not in his league, though fully aware of Summerland’s “I Dream of Dating Grayson Ford” support group.

I can’t say no. The girl’s had my heart since before I knew it went missing.

He hides a life of hell. His father hates him, his mother’s gone. Emma is his only savior, yet she doesn’t know her power over him. She’s the only girl he wants, the only one he could ever tell–though he won’t.

Book 2 Only For Her

I really enjoyed this book even more than the first one. Chances to right wrongs are absolutely amazing. What you think is gone forever is knocking down your door. I’m on to book 3

Each book in this series is getting better and better. Watching the relationship between Gray and Emma evolve warms my heart. Once again I gasped at the end. I knew it was coming eventually. Off to book 4 to get the final installment of this great series.

This is the perfect ending to this tale of 2 lovers. I absolutely fell more in love with Grayson and Emma. They Finally get their Happy ever after.

Holy hell!!! I said I was desperate to read Lennon’s book after meeting her in The Bartender & The Boxer but NEVER did I expect what I actually got.

Lennon is incredible. Her story is INCREDIBLE! I loved every single second!

Lennon became my favourite back in The Bartender. Her sass and way of life, so free, was refreshing. She’s hilarious, wicked and witty. And she’s hot, oozing confidence. I’m not afraid to say I crushed on Lennon. LOL. Loved her. What was so fun and interesting to see was how Lennon met her one. Piper Rayne wrote this so, so well. Making it fun, sexy and totally believable. And who is the fine man who sweeps our Lennon off her feet?

Ladies! His name is Jasper and he’s AMAZING! From the off, the minute Jasper set his eyes on Lennon. I felt it. These two are sparks and light and intense heat. They are raw, intense, passionate and it oozes from the pages. Jasper is a world of his own people. It was always going to take something special for Lennon to fall but with Jasper, personally I think Piper Rayne nailed it.
Like Lennon and Jasper, I was swept of my feet. Held thoroughly captivated by words that made one hell of a story!

The Banker is my FAVE of this series of standalones! A total winner in my bookish eyes. 5 EPICALLY AWESOME STARS.

Review-Whitewash by Ann Grech

My rating is 5 out of 5

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series from beginning to end. This was the ultimate end to a a great series. Reef and Ford will forever be in my heart.

This book was much more angsty than the previous books. I loved every second of it. There was so much heartache and pain throughout, but don’t worry. They get their HEA.

I’m looking forward for more from Ann on a specific couple I have my eyes on. I’m seriously hoping two specific people get their HEA.

OH MY HEART! My happy, singing heart, so full of FEELINGS and all the bookish things we dream of. DAMN YOU M for OWNING ME with Own It. I’m ruined. Completely ruined over your BEST BOOK YET! My new M Dauphin FAVE!!!

Own It was a quick read. Easily devoured in 3 hours.. I was ADDICTED. HIGH off magical words and epic emotions and everything in between. M has TOTALLY nailed everything in this book. From the first chapter that smacks you in the feels and grips on SO, SO TIGHT. To the simmering, intense connection between the lead characters that just steals your heart and soul. To the secondary characters that add into the story and aid the flow. To a story line that wasn’t littered with unnecessary drama, but focused on two people, both different, both suffering, both searching. All of it, totally perfect. Just breathtaking. Jett & Lo have ALL OF ME.

Jett Voss. My current obsession. LORD THIS MAN. I want one. Like now! I don’t know how M writes men the way she does but they work themselves straight into your heart and just wreck you. In the BEST POSSIBLE WAY. I’m just. GAH! *floats from the swoon*

His and Lo’s relationship was written flawlessly. They were just right. You know? Like I could just feel it and I just knew the relationship was going to give me those epic tummy flutters and it did. Multiple times. And by golly THEY ARE HOT. BURNING HOT! Just EVERYTHING.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Own It, owns me. It’s M’s best book yet and my ultimate fave of hers!!

Especially when it takes a young life. Like the life of my five year old son. You want to know what I have to say about that? Nothing. Absolutely nothing because I don’t have the drive anymore. There’s nothing left in me except emptiness. That much is obvious. I’ve lost my car, my career, and my apartment. At least I have my brother. Actually, I just have a place to stay because of my rich, single brother.

I’m struggling to find purpose again. After what life’s shown me it can do to a person, I really don’t care if I’m breathing anymore.

EMOTIONALLY ENTHRALLING.

Two words to describe the experience I’ve had while reading Breaking Gravity by Autumn Grey. This book, took my breath away, took my heart captive and stole a part of my soul without even trying. All of it, from beginning to end was just FLAWLESS.

This student/teacher romance was EVERYTHING it needed to be and yet so much more.. Breaking Gravity started off slow, building intensity with passion fuelled dislike and two broken, battered souls. Gradually as things became more between our two beautifully broken characters so did the power and rawness in words that captivated and consumed. Conquering my whole being.

I was hypnotized. Completely and utterly addicted to the way Autumn made me feel. I LOST MY MIND over the way everything came together. The butterflies in my stomach couldn’t control their wings and my heart wouldn’t slow down. Everything drew me in, everything worked. The mesh of emotions that plagued me while reading we’re so freaking intense. I felt the scorching heat and love between our characters, I felt the guilt and damaged parts of them, I felt their happiness and sadness, their joy and pain. I felt it ALL. Autumn Grey has penned an absolute masterpiece with Breaking Gravity.

Breaking Gravity left me spellbound. Lost in a sea of breathtaking feels. This epic journey of two lost, broken souls finding love, closure and happiness has stolen a part of me that I’ll happily never give back!

I’m going to start this review by saying I devoured I Just Want You in half a day.

I’m also going to say, I think this is Kaylee’s best book yet!

I also must say that I absolutely LOVED IT.

I Just Want You is a sexy, steamy romance full of sweetness and swoon.

One thing Kaylee nails in all of her books are her hero’s. Kaylee writes ALPHA so, so well. Alphas that know what they want, go after it and don’t care who knows. Alphas that make their claim from the start and see it through. Alphas that are POSSESSIVE, PROTECTIVE and OBSESSIVE yet RESPECTFUL and LOVING. Kaylee nails all that and more. In I Just Want You, Kaylee’s hero Crew was sheer perfection.

Crew’s relationship with Berklee was written brilliantly. I felt all of their simmering tension, heart pounding lust and then their intense, passionate love.

I love that this whole book wasn’t littered with unnecessary drama and mainly focused on the relationship between Crew and Berklee. Even the latter part of the book and the issues the couple face, fit really well and were written in a great way that allowed the story to maintain its flow and beauty.

I Just Want You is CRAZY HOT. Utterly addictive, sweet and sexy! A MUST READ!

The finding a job to go with my expensive education, that part was not so easy. At least not until I was offered a position at the new club in town.

AHHHHH! I’ve just completed Wounded by Abby Brooks. I’m a little lost for words actually. I’ve only met a few of Abby’s books but this one BLEW ME AWAY! My heart and soul are Wounded in the best possible way. I was not expecting to feel the amount of emotions I did.

From the initial hate/enemy feel to the inevitable falling in love I was RIGHT THERE! Abby’s words infiltrated me and pulled me right in so I was experiencing every single thing that the characters were. My heart cracked and then broke during devastating scenes that were written with such intensity.

My heart was rebuilt through beautiful, passionate scenes that also made my tummy flip and flop.

Liam and Bailey were so well written. As total opposites these two should not have worked but Abby managed to pull them together and she did it spectacularly. Both characters were so flawed, yet so beautiful, each fighting personal demons and trying to handle each others. Even when everything implodes and things are pulled to within the thinnest degree their love is UNDENIABLE. It burrows deep into your skin and flares hope and happiness that is then delivered just brilliantly.

Wounded, from start to finish is a breathtaking read that worms it’s way into your heart, grips tight and does not let go! 5 STUNNING stars!

My rating is 5 out of 5 stars

I am so happy to see Ace and Dylan get their happy ever after, but I am going to miss them so much. They have truly weaves their way into my heart and will forever reside there. This was a fantastic and heartfelt ending to a new beginning for them both.
This book was the perfect blend of everything. It was hot, but duh, because Dylan and Ace! It was also funny.. But most of all it was full of complete heartfelt emotion that I did admit made me cry a few times (happy tears).
All of our favorite characters from.the past come together to celebrate the joining of this absolutely perfect couple. It truly doesn’t get any better than this. My heart just feels pure joy right now. That ending completed me too. I hope you all enjoy as much as I did.

“SO YOU’RE GONNA want to keep your toes on the tail of the board and grip the rails under your chest like this,” Dylan said as he lay across the surfboard to show me the basics of his favorite pastime on the secluded stretch of beach. Not that I was paying much attention to the words coming out of his mouth. I was much more interested in the way his muscles flexed beneath the skintight Body Glove wetsuit he wore.

As he pushed himself up into a standing position, my gaze traveled down the broad expanse of his back and down to his ass.

“See how my dominant leg is in the back, and— Ace? Are you paying attention?”

“Mhmm,” I murmured as I bit down on my lower lip and continued my perusal.

Dylan turned to face me, and his hands went to his hips. “Oh yeah?” he said when I looked up. “What did I just say?”

Taking a step forward, I gave him a cocky grin and tugged him off the surfboard and onto the sand until he was flush against me. Then I let my hands roam down over the firm, round muscles of his ass. “Something about being a dominant in the back,” I said, nipping at his lobe. “So why don’t you turn around?”

A groan of frustration left Dylan then, but his head tilted to the side to let my lips trail down his neck. “You’re not gonna feel so cocky when you can’t get up on that board.”

“Oh, I can always get it up, don’t you worry.”

His hands covered my chest and he gently pushed me away. “How about you prove it, hotshot?” Then he pointed to the longboard I’d rented for the weekend. “Why don’t you show me how it’s done.”

“It’s more fun watching you.”

“Ace. Get your ass on that board.”

I squinted in the sun and grinned. “You gonna be this bossy all weekend?”

“If you’re lucky.”

I took a step back so I was by my board, and crossed my arms. I had my wetsuit on, but it was still undone and hanging around my hips while Dylan walked me through this process step by step, and my move had the desired effect. He rubbed a hand up the back of his neck and over his hair, leaving it tousled and oh so sexy.

“What?” I asked. “I’m back on my side of the board.”

“Don’t try and act innocent with me, Locke. I’m trying to teach you a new skill. One that will keep you from hurting yourself. And you’re standing there being all…” He waved his hand up and down, gesturing to my exposed upper body.

“Yes?”

“See. Stop it,” he said, and then pointed to the board. “And zip up that damn wetsuit so I can’t see all your muscles.”

I arched a brow as I moved to slip my arms through the stretchy synthetic material, and when I reached for the zipper and pulled it up to the base of my skull, Dylan groaned.

“Okay, that’s almost worse than no wetsuit.”

“I’m sorry. You’re not checking me out, are you? Because you’re supposed to be paying close attention to teaching me something that could save my life,” I said as I turned around and made a show of bending down to get on the board.

“You having fun right now?” Dylan asked.

“Maybe a little.”

“Yeah, well, let’s hope that holds true when the wave dumps you on your ass.”

I let out a sigh and gripped the board just as he’d told me, because the truth of the matter was, I had never surfed a day in my life. I grew up in Chicago, for God’s sake. But Dylan, with his sun-kissed hair, long, lean body, and eyes the color of the sea, looked right at home with the sun shining down on him as his feet sank into the sand by my head.

“Let’s try this a couple more times here on land, and then we’ll get you out in the water. We won’t have you trying to stand up just yet. But if you can get the hang of at least catching the wave into the shore, we might be able to progress.” He crouched down and said, “Remember, toes on the tail of the board and grip the rails, and then push up.”

As I did as he instructed, I paused in the push-up position and was rewarded when he leaned in and took my lips in a sweet kiss.

“Again,” he whispered, and I moved back down to repeat the move, and this time when I paused, I was rewarded with a deeper kiss. When he pulled away too soon, I grumbled and he laughed, straightening. “Any more of that and we won’t make it into the water. On your feet, Locke, it’s time to hit the waves.”
