Kenzie, the brunette beauty, oh how I loved her as much as Hayden and even more in Dangerous Rush. She grew up so much in this story, shining solo with determination and dominance that I greatly admired. Kenzie has strength in spades and is one of the strongest heroines ever.

Kenzie and Hayden are MAGIC together, and I was mesmerized by this magnetic couple. Their relationship is full of fire fueled by love. I LOVE them both so much!

Giving me a devilish grin, she murmured,

Another 5 star read from Diana Gardin. She writes such easy to fall in love with, ex military, swoonworthy men. A sassy but sweet heroine. I also am an absolute sucker for second chance romances. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and loved seeing the other characters we know and love.

High school sweethearts torn apart by nefarious circumstances meet again 9 years later. Rayne is on the run after discovering something she shouldn’t have at her job. Her sister gets her a job at the security company. When Jeremy walks in the door she is at a loss for words.

Seeing her when he walks in to work, he is absolutely stunned. The girl who got away without a trace. All those feelings come rushing back. When he finds out someone’s after her, he will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

This is a 5 star read that you definitely want to read if you love a good second chance story full of action, love, and, happy endings.

To keep her safe, he’ll have to uncover all her secrets…

Review- More Than Need You by Shayla Black

I was so excited to get my hands on this book. After the way book 1 ended, I knew we were in for a treat. I was right. This book was definitely comparable to a bumpy roller coaster ride. There was so much hurt and despair that you heart physically hurts.

Griff and Britta were apart for 3 years after he believes his brother and his girlfriend betrayed him. He finds out years later that he is a dad and is determined to insert himself into his son’s and Britta’s life. It will not be easym She will fight him every step of the way. I dont blame her. I’d feel the same in her shoes.

Britta is just exisiting. She is settling for a guy that doesn’t light up her world. He is just safe. When Griff turns her world upside down with the ultimatum to stay with him for 60 days, they both start to break down their defenses. All it takes though is one repeat of history to tear it all apart once again.

Will they be able to overcome once again? They certainly need to tear down every single wall that is keeping them apart. Shayla got me. I did cry a few times at the end. This book is a must read.

Review – Hot Cop by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone

Oh, Officer Kelly… you can arrest me anytime that you want. I do mean anytime.

I cannot say how much I enjoyed this book! I laughed until my sides hurt. I swooned and fanned myself regularly while I was reading. Chase Kelly is the hottest, yummiest cop around. And dirty. He is just so dirty! That made this book even more fun to read. It’s no wonder that they call him Officer Good Times. But times for Chase are a’changing.

We meet Livia Ward when she is at the beginning of a personal crisis – in a year she will be 30, and of course, life ends at the ripe old age of 30. As lucky would have it that morning, Livia meets police officer Chase Kelly under some rather unusual circumstances. Still the attraction between is instant and Chase wants nothing more than to give Livia the naughty librarian the Kelly Trio. Sex the alpha Kelly way. No strings attached. When Livia presents Chase with a proposition of her own that will fulfill both their needs, Chase figures why not have his cake and eat it too? These two certainly were not expecting their relationship to take the turn that it does. I liked Livia so much. There were plenty of moments that I cheered her on and then wanted to shake her. Livia wants things to go in an orderly fashion. She’s made a plan and will stick to it come what may. What was she thinking when she thought that Chase would fit into her plans so easily and then be discarded? He changes her, excites her and moves her like no one else has done before. It was fun watching the stiff, straight laced lady become the passionate risk taker at the hands of Chase Kelly.

Laurelin and Sierra have created some awesome stories together. This was a joy to climb into! An absolute scorcher that I didn’t want to end. The laughs and sexy banter between Livia and Chase kept me coming back for more. Hot Cop is so well written and has just the right amount of angst, humor and yes, filthy moments. It’s playful, sinful and thoughtful. I loved it. Well done, ladies. Very well done!

“I forget how big you are,” she murmurs, her head tilted up to look into my face.

I give her my biggest grin and open my mouth, but she cuts me off before I can say it, shaking her head. “I know, I know. I walked right into that one.”

But the ghost of a smile flits across her lips as I help her into her seat and push in her chair.

When I sit across from her and we start looking at our menus, I notice the smile has vanished and the nervous look is back, along with a determined set to her shoulders. The combination of uneasiness and backbone intrigues and worries me at the same time.

Yet, the ending of this book was heart breaking and heartwarming. Those two things meshed together in the most beautiful way resulting in a truly stunning end. From around the 2% mark Elle held my heart in her hand, she stole my breath and held onto it tight. I straight up devoured this book whole and I loved every breathtaking second.

Elle has penned this novel with a seamlessly, perfect fluidity. Each and every word was flawless. Past and present beautifully came together and told a story of first love, heartache, pain and second chances. The angst lover in me fell deep at the push and pull that is played out over the pages. The angst lover in me loved the the intense connection that you cannot help but feel from these characters as they battle with their hearts & minds. The angst lover in me adored that passion that Elle poured into her words that just screamed with emotion and deep feeling. If you’re not an angst lover but love to truly feel and connect with a story, then this is the book for you!

This was so much fun, seriously sexy and a great read! A fast paced page turner that’s engaging from the very first paragraph, Adriana has written another winner! Fantastic!

Swiping a set of files from the corner of my desk, I spread them in front of me in a haphazard, I’ve-been-doing-this-all-day, kind of way. Not that I haven’t been working since before the sun came up. I have. But that’s not the point.

I am such a HUGE fan of Angel Payne, Victoria Blue and this incredible series. The Secrets of Stone had from No Prince Charming. I have devoured each book as the series has only gotten more intense, more intriguing and so very sexy. Tolly, Fletcher and Drake’s unique love story only adds more spice to an already seriously decadent series!

Talia Perizkova has found herself in love with two men. Best friends for as long as they can recall, Fletcher Ford and Drake Newland have shared everything. Now they share a love for their beautiful Tolly. They have had to overcome much in their time together – an orthodox family, doubts and insecurities. They are building a life together and then with one devastating event, everything changes.

This book… I was heartbroken, angry and ultimately so in love with these three incredible people. More in love than even in their previous stories in the series. There is so much love and such an amazing connection between the three of them. Despite conventional norms, society’s idea of an ideal relationship, or their own misguided attempts to make a triangle to a straight line, Tolly and her two loves’ fight to have it all was inspiring. They could have it all but it meant getting out of their own way and relying what they knew to be true – they were meant to be together. No broken bond.

Angel and Victoria, you ladies continue to wow and amaze me with this stunning series. This story is so beautifully written, angsty and sensuous. I read this with my hand to my chest, laughter and sighs on my lips and clenched thighs. Fantastic, dynamic duo! A well earned five stars!

Time to Learn by Karen Ferry

When I finished Time To Learn by Karen Ferry I really had to think how I was going to put everything into words effectively. See, I have LOVED Karen’s writing from the first time I read her. To me she’s an author that isn’t “seen” as much as others and definitely isn’t ranked as high as others but she should be. Each of Karen’s books I’ve read so far have been rated 5 star but in all honesty they pale in comparison to this book. And while Garrett will always be my main Ferry hero this STORY in Time To Learn will hold my heart for a very long time.

To be honest with you, when I started Time to Learn I didn’t know what to do, I wasn’t connecting to the story, to Laura and it was moving a little too slow. So I put it down and read something else, however a need to know things burned inside me and made me pick up the book again. I easily fell into this book after that.

I connected to Kristian immediately and felt every crack in his broken soul. I loved him. I also found myself growing more fond of Laura once she decided to find her happiness and take a chance.

Laura is a broken down woman that has suffered through some horrific events and while I really wanted her to be more open I totally understood why she guarded herself. And that’s all down to Karen and the way she wrote Laura.

My heart ached and bloomed throughout this book in equal measure. With every low came a stunning high. Karen balanced the weak and the strong perfectly. She balanced the heartbreak and devastation with intense love and SUPER HOT passion and it all seemed so simple. So breathtakingly simple.

Despite my initial lull, I came to love, no, I came to adore this story. Laura and Kristian are sexy and stunning. On the whole Time to Learn is beautifully breathtaking.

When I read the blurb and learned the concept of this anthology, I knew that not only would I love it, I would devour it! This is truly unique from the mind of the amazing Jana Aston. Six incredible authors, one share blurb. Six absolutely fantastic stories that I have just blown me away!

I ended up having two favorites from the anthology. Ainsley Booth’s Personal Escort and Liv Morris’s Wall Street Station were similar to each other but so different in their interpretation of the blurb. Both were stories of best friends to lovers, younger women with older men… a good bit older. Ainsley’s story was full of laughs and light hearted moments. Liv’s story was a bit darker and more a story of overcoming a past that went from light to total darkness. Both stories are without fail absolutely brilliant

In Personal Escort, Toby Hunt gets his love story. We briefly met Toby in Ainsley’s newsletter serial Personal Delivery (sigh…. Jake). Toby is a billionaire and best friends with Ben Russo and his younger sister, Cara. Toby has always had a soft spot for her, felt the need to protect her. But now Cara has found herself in a bit of a predicament thanks to her meddling grandmother. Meddling but well meaning. All the while, his feelings growing for a young woman he knows he shouldn’t have feelings for. Desperate times call for desperate measures and Seraphina must use her talents to make ends meet. Seth stole my heart with his protective alpha nature, his genuine heart and his need to make Seraphina the center of his world. Seraphina is the definition of strength under enormouse pressure, grace even in the wake of such a hurtful turn in her life. Their story is worth the read and I fell into it with my heart in my throat!

This anthology was simply stunning! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to get through to the next station. Full of laughs, tears… moments that made me joyful and see how powerful just one blurb in the hands of six talented ladies can truly be! My hat’s off to you, awesome authors! Tremendously wonderful job well done!

What can I say. Katee Robert strikes again with an even bigger and better installment in the O’Malley series. This book is all things steamy, shocking, and action packed.

Teague has always been my favorite but Jude just bumped him to second place. He is on a mission for revenge.
