Minute by minute is the sexy, suspenseful final instalment to the Games and Diversions series.
This whole series has been like jumping from one thrill ride to the next.
Rounds one and two dragged me into Lukas & Elena’s story and held me captive. The heart stopping twists and turns were insanely addictive and round three is no different. If anything, it’s BETTER!

Minute by Minute sees more tantalising twists and turns which threw me off course while reading. My heart sat in my throat and my mind raced throughout. I spent most of the book with my jaw on the floor, shocked with they revelations that are revealed. And just when I thought I had an idea about the mystery behind everything. BAM! Natalie throws a loop that sent my brain into a tail spin.

I don’t actually think I can love Lukas any more. He’s epic. Literally epic! No more words needed.
Elena steals my heart for being a sassy, sexy woman who is strong enough to hold her own and is hilarious when drunk.

This book intrigued me, held me captive. It shocked me and surprised me. It made me laugh, swoon and love. The terrific twists and turns kept me on my toes, flicking the pages in an attempt to fit all the puzzle pieces together and play the game. Natalie is extremely clever and has woven a truly unique story that fully deserves 5 sensational, sexy, suspenseful stars.

Lukas Griffin

I’d heard that chess was a game made for the Gods of Men.

You are not a God… you’re just a man.

But even you can make the rules…

Rule no. 1: Trust no one.
Not even the ones you like.
Not even the ones you love.
Especially not the ones you love.

Rule no. 2: Do not fuck the irresistible blonde.
Not even if she asks.
Not even if she begs.
And she just may…

Rule no. 3: FUCK THE RULES.
To Hell with them.
Set fire to them and watch them burn…
Realize that under the right circumstances, everyone is capable of betrayal.
Even you…

Review – Never Let You Go by Monica Murphy

Never Let Me Go is a soul-searing and spellbinding story of second-chance romance that is filled with heartbreak, hope, and happiness where you can’t help but fall hopelessly in love. This saga is all-consuming as it steals your time. You mind. Your heart. Your soul. Everything. You’re deeply embedded in this saga where all the feels flow freely as Never Let Me Go holds on tight, owning you every step of the way.

Like Never Tear Us Apart, Never Let Me Go is a heartwarming but hard read. There are ugly parts that I wanted to ignore, box away, but I didn’t because that ugly…it needed to be told for the good to unfold. The lows result in highs. With darkness brings light. Hope. A happily ever after.

Back and forth. Two steps forward, one step back. My heart breaks. My heart heals. My gut aches. My body feels. Never Let Me Go. Oh the feels. I felt every word I read starting with the prologue, so power-packed and poignant. I was already tearing up as the words were arrows, piercing my heart, bleeding and branding me as I knew the rest of the book would. Painful.

“I cry. I can’t stop. I cry at night before I go to sleep. I cry throughout the day when I should be doing something, anything to remind myself that I’m alive. I should be living.”

Powerful.

“But instead I cry for what I’ve lost. I cry for what I’ve found.”

Pondering.

“Gone is the girl I once was. Gone is the woman I was slowly becoming.”

Poignant.

“Now there’s only this void. And there’s only one person to blame for what I’ve become, what I’ve turned into. And his name—his real name—is Will Monroe.”

Wow. So raw and real. The dam of emotions is teetering near flood levels.

Never Let Me Go is as heart-tugging as the prologue, as we revisit Katherine and Ethan in the conclusion of their story. The emotions escape, refusing to be held prisoner, as they pour off the pages, drowning me. Searing my soul. Brandishing my brain. Harnessing my heart. I feel each word I read. I feel these characters. I feel everything.

This powerful and poignant story picks up where Never Tear Us Apart left off, and is retold by Katherine and Ethan. Katherine is stronger than she was before and is learning to assert herself for the first time since her abduction. Her voice has returned and she will no longer hide in shame. Though still dealing with the aftermath of her abduction and abuse.

What hurts more than the abduction aftermath is the betrayal by Ethan that left her more broken. Torn. Split in two. Untrusting and unsure.

“I finally catch a glimpse of happy, of something real and solid and tender and…loving, and it ends up ruined. Ripped from my hands and thrown away. Lies. Deception. All of it.”

My heart that broke for Katherine now also breaks for Ethan, who is devastated that he lied and broke her trust. His heart now bleeds too.

“Inside I’m hollow. Broken into so many tiny pieces, I don’t think anyone or anything could put me back together. I’ve lost the only thing that matters. The only person I’ve ever really loved. And she hates me.”

Katherine is at a crossroads: forgive Ethan and risk having her heart broken and trust betrayed again or cut him off completely and resurrect those walls that Ethan broke free. She hates Ethan. Loves him. Misses him. Though fate finds Katherine and Ethan again and again, with a pull so strong that it’s a force they can no longer fight. Their relationship is taboo, but fate doesn’t care. Forbidden but forever bound.

“He’s seen me in every way possible, he knows me better than anyone else, and I realize in this single, heart-stopping moment that he is the only person in this entire world who understands me, knows me inside out.”

I swoon and melt as the goodness starts to snuff out evil with Ethan being a real-life Superman.

“He gave me light, when all I’d ever felt was darkness.”

Oh Ethan! I want to take away his pain too that has stolen his childhood, self-worth, and more.

“I’m not good enough for you. I never will be. You deserve better.”

Katherine’s Superman doesn’t think he deserves to be happy, despite saving the lady who will always be his. Though he will always rescue her. Forever.

“From the moment I saw her, I knew I had to take care of her. In some inherent way, I knew she belonged to me. It just took me years to find her again.”

Katherine is Superman’s Wonder Woman, despite nursing a bleeding heart, a heart that will always belong to Ethan. Her sweetness is his drug. His cure to snuff out his dark past.

“I need the sweetness of Katie to overcome the darkness of my past.”

Secrets, lies, and a monster from the past escape, breaking free and threatening Katherine and Ethan’s happiness. Fate needs one last appearance, as these two lost souls are only half but together are whole.

“It’s not his fault. It’s never his fault. We can’t control the monsters.”

Never Let Me Go held my heart from its beautiful and brilliant beginning to its enthralling and emotional end. This soul-searing saga grabbed my heart, wrapped itself around my head, and never let go. This book scared me, scarred me, shred me, and shattered me. Then it healed me, piecing my heart back together, filtering hope and happiness through my head and in my heart.

While the Never Tear Us Apart Duet paints a vivid picture of monsters lurking in the dark, its light and love that snuff out evil is what binds this story together, making it a mesmerizing and oh-so-meaningful masterpiece that you must experience. Monica Murphy has written her best, and most brilliant and beautiful story ever, one of epic love that will stay with me, perhaps for a lifetime.

 5 soul-searing and strong stars

The second and final novel in a darkly sexy contemporary series from New York Times and USA bestselling author Monica Murphy, NEVER LET YOU GO is a tale about forbidden love.

NEVER LET YOU GO is an emotionally powerful novel about moving on from horrific events in the past and learning to love. Monica Murphy deftly delves into the world of romantic suspense and masterfully tackles a difficult subject matter.

* * *

The truth hurts, they say—and my pain cuts deep. While I was falling for Ethan, he was deceiving me the entire time. He held a huge secret, protected by his lies. When I discovered what he was hiding, the truth shook my world, threatening to ruin us forever. Ruin me. But I soon realized that what we share can’t be destroyed.

The connection between us is too strong. It always has been. I can’t deny him any longer. And I can’t deny my truth: I’m in love with Ethan.

I don’t want to let him go.

While we’re trying our best to make this relationship work, other forces are fighting against us. My family, who wants to keep me safe. The media obsessed with my tragic past. The public that feeds off of it. Even Ethan’s father—the man who nearly destroyed me all those years ago. He’s doing his best to finish the job.

Despite my love for Ethan, the doubts creep in, clouding my mind. Is he worth the pain? Will our love survive, or will we have no choice but to end it—end us—once and for all?

Review – Predator by Michelle Horst

image

Predator is the powerful new standalone from Michelle Horst that penetrates the heart and soul leaving behind a painful yet blissful wake of intense feelings and emotions.
Predator comes with a warning, it contains dark, sensitive subject matter that some readers may find hard to read.
I’ll admit, this book is hard to read. It’s dark, raw and it broke my heart. Michelle writes dark and twisty incredibly well. Her ability to suck readers into the dark while filling them with light and hope is second to none. In fact I’d say this is by far Michelle’s best work to date.
From the Prologue I was hooked, pulled so deep into the shock and suspense of the story that my heart was almost beating from my chest, my jaw had dropped and breath stopped. Michelle’s description of her characters and their surroundings was outstanding. I was able to feel as though I was right there watching the horrors unfold and feel the pain and disgust oozing from Cara.
I honestly don’t think Predator (Damien) could have been any better written. His cold, unloving demeanour at first suited him perfectly for the angle of the story. What Michelle did with his character through out the book was wonderful. Predator breathed again, felt life and while reading I saw that develop really well.
The two as a couple are beautiful. Two damaged, broken souls who find life in one another. Who find solace and happiness with each other. Michelle makes her characters strong when they should be weak, she gives them hope when there is so much dark, she shows them bravery when there is so much fear. And she shines the light and leads them to their paths perfectly.
This whole book, is truly wonderful. Heartbreak turns into blissful fullness and tears turn into smiles. And above all else hope fights it’s way throughout, wins and shows anyone that they can make it.

PREDATOR Coming April 29th!

GR: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29287144-predator-a-stand-alone-novel

Blurb
All my life I’ve been hiding, until there is no corner on this god-forsaken earth left for me to hide. I have to pay for the sins of my father. No one with Ellison blood in their veins is allowed to live, and I am the last of my bloodline.

I am kept in a container waiting for my death sentence to be carried out, when he comes. He is only known as ‘Predator’. No one knows who he works for, only that he leaves no one alive.

His every breath is filled with the last gasp of his dying prey.

But for some reason he doesn’t kill me.

I don’t know which is worse, the death sentence hanging over my head, or being at his mercy.

Review – Moto by M. Never

6x9Template
Synopsis:

What’s harder than resisting one Dane man? Resisting two.

I don’t date bikers. It’s my one cardinal rule. No rough, rugged, tattooed egotistical maniacs on two wheels. Even if they are gorgeous, brilliant, and sport the prefix Doctor. Bottom line, bikers are nothing but trouble.

T.R.O.U.B.L.E

Dr. Devlin Dane has had his sights set on my panties for months. But I’ve done a stellar job of fending him off. As Mercy Medical’s most eligible bachelor, he has no problem in the panty dropping department. He’s tall, dark, and inked all over. I get the appeal, I’m not dead. I’m not stupid either. He’s a walking heartbreak waiting to happen.

But when Reese Dane comes crashing into my life – literally- the game suddenly changes.

Reese, the dark, brooding, motorcycle racing champion, knows exactly how to apply the right pressure on and off the track.

The two have an unstoppable pull like centrifugal force, and both bad boy bikers are determined to take me on a high-powered ride I’ll never forget…

Moto Harder
4.5 F*cking Fast Stars!

This was one incredible story! It certainly wasn’t anything that I expected it to be. It wasn’t a sordid tacky three way. It was beautifully written, twisting my heart in ways I certainly never saw coming. Heartbreaking but so incredibly sexy that I was left sighing, swooning and wishing that I had my own set of Dane brothers. Sweet but dirty, demanding but gentle… The Danes were walking, talking contrasts. At moments I so envied Kayla. At others? Well, I certainly would call her relationships a challenge!

Kayla was a nurse in a small town and had the pleasure of working with the divine Dr. Devlin Dane – a brilliant cardiologist, resident kinky manwhore and motorcycle enthusiast. He’s beautiful, tatted, mischievous and he wants Kayla. Kayla refuses for many reasons to become involved with a moto. But she’s finding him harder and harder to resist. Fate throws another obstacle in Kayla’s path in the form of Reese Dane – Dev’s identical twin and a world renowned motorcycle racing champion. Same beautiful body and amazing tats. But Reese is darker, moodier, a huge daredevil and risk taker. Charged with Reese’s care, Kayla finds herself drawn more and more to Reese while still falling for his brother. Reese and Devlin know that they are both falling for Kayla. So the twins devise a plan where everyone gets what they want – or do they?

Dev, Reese and Kayla have the most unique, intense and confounding relationship. Twins have such a connection anyway but throw in the fact that they love the same woman and it opens up the door to a fiery passion, unbelievable chemistry and moments of chaos unlike anything I have read in quite some time. There were two distinct relationships in this book. No one could be left unscathed. Feelings change, situations change. The ending was shocking on the one hand but so worth the roller coaster ride that M took me on. I highly and most definitely recommend this high octane, twisty, turning amazing ride of a story! Fantastic!  Give me f*cking fast!
