It’s a little combative, a lot combustible, and completely captivating. It was my GUILTY PLEASURE.

Review – Unraveled by Helen Hardt

Wow. One of the best series I’ve ever read has come to an end. I don’t want to say goodbye. Helen has me addicted, and I may just need rehab to get over the withdrawals. Action packed, high intensity thrills is what this book is all about. I thought my heart was going to stop from going into overdrive for so long.

The suspense will have you on the edge of your seat as everything comes to a head. I admit, Helen kept blowing my mind at every turn. I never knew what was going to happen next. I love when books are unpredictable. The twists and turns are around every corner which prevents me from going into any detail of the book. I would never ruin such perfection for anyone. It will be super hard saying goodbye, but I know whatever Helen gives us next will be equally as amazing.

Holy mother of Steele books! This book takes the cake, hands down. Before I could grasp what had just happened even more twisted information pops up. Helen really worked overtime to keep our minds in overdrive following this one.
I must apologize to Talon. I loved Talon from the start and never in my wildest dreams thought he could be replaced, but Ryan certainly pulled it off. I am going to have naughty dreams of all the filthy things Ryan can do to me, not to mention that alpha hot head streak that can’t be contained. Do not mess with someone he loves if you value your life. That’s all I’m saying.
This book really starts to get further in depth of uncovering all of the secrets that were being slowly unraveled. I have to say, this book seriously turned uo the intensity factor about 10 notches. It’s on now. The end is in sight. Now we have to cross our fingers and toes that everyone makes it out unscathed.
This is hands down the best book Helen has released yet. I never thought I would say those words because of the strong affinity I developed for Talon from the start but you don’t even know the half of it. Kudos to Helen for continually delivering a series that only exponentially gets better and better. Unraveled can’t get here soon enough. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out.

The initial flirting, playful banter, and sexual tension was an instant HIGH. After a small hit, I had to have MORE. I also had to know if justice would be served to the A-man with the small pencil down below. Spoiler alert: The sweet justice dished out to the anti-hero A, was the icing on the cake.

Review – Throne of Secrets by Graceley Knox

At this moment I’m shocked speechless. This by far is the best most fast paced books in this series. It furthermore confirms that this will forever be my FAVORITE Fae series EVER! Graceley has gone beyond my wildest imagination and planted me so far into the story that I felt I was a part of it.
Extremely vivid details make you feel like you are there in the midst of all the action taking place. And let me tell you, there is so much that goes down in this book that I couldn’t even put it down for a bathroom break. I could care less that my bladder feels on the verge if exploding. I couldn’t stop until the very last word.
You will be hanging on the edge of your seat and going on the ride of your lives as you go on the journey to save the lives of many. Ever really steps up her game and her relationship with Dare is absolutely perfect. I love how their relationship has blossomed and I was particularly happy with a little twist thrown in there that I can’t wait to see play out.
I’ll definitely be waiting with baited breath for the next book to find out how everything is going to turn out. Graceley Knox has proven to be a talented author who will quickly climb the ladder in the literary world to the top!

C’est un des livres plus chauds de l’année et donc la peine d’attendre! Oh, mon cœur!

Shane Kingston has to be one of Harper’s sexiest leading men. Stripper turned business partner, occassional bartender and spotlight dancer. The man is seriously alpha, a bit of a control freak and what he wants – has always wanted – is Nikki Clark. Only two things stand in the way, or rather two people. That would be their exes Lacey and Seth. These two just can’t seem to let go more than a year after the break ups. Nikki is ready to move on, let loose and learn to have fun. Shane wants to move on, let loose and have fun with Nikki. They’ve always been attracted to each other. Now they don’t have to deny what they want. After one SERIOUSLY sexy dance at Dirty Dog, these two make a deal that’s mutually beneficial and kills two birds with one stone. They get rid of their exes and thoroughly enjoy each others company. A fake relationship for the public but can that really work in private when these two have such a long standing burning attraction?

It’s hard not to love Nikki. She’s a dedicated teacher and friend. She’s beloved by all the Corps Security families and is seen as one of their own. When she gives, she gives everything. There’s no way that Shane can resist his draw to Nikki with her strong independent streak and her need to please and care for those that she loves. She is the perfect submissive compliment to his dominant nature. After a horrible breakup, Nikki wants to enjoy her life and part of that is indulging her needs with the dirty French talking, sexy hips wiggling bartender. It doesn’t take long for these two to see that what they have isn’t just a simply friendship with some great times burning the sheets. This is more and so much deeper than either expected with a lot more to lose. Suddenly what’s supposed to be fake becomes very real.

Insecurities arise and miscommunication takes its toll not only on Shane and Nikki but on their other friendships as well. Shane is a deep well of secrets and past hurts that demand that he have total control in all areas of his life. But what happens when once, just once, he lets it all go? Can Nikki give everything to Shane and finally have all that she’s ever wanted?

I finished Drunk On You with a smile on my face and immediately flipped back to read the ending another time. Then I flipped back to other scenes in the book that made me want more of Shane’s dominating personality and Nikki’s need for him. This trip to Hope Town has been my favorite so far. This book has a mix of everything that has made Harper one of my favorite go to authors – steamy sexy scenes, sweet heartwarming romance, a leading man that wears his alpha so well and a leading woman who I just had to cheer on as she fought for and then got her man. It was amazing to have Nate and Ember back as they supported their best friends in finding their own happy ending. Let’s not forget Shane’s little sister, Liberty. She’s a female version of her brother, strong willed and has deep hurts. I’m so excited to read her story on my next visit to Hope Town.

We may have been disappointed that we didn’t get this book earlier this year, but it was definitely worth the wait. My hat’s off to Harper and the absolutely divine Shane Kingston! Don’t miss this one. FANTASTIC, Harper!

Sometimes you need a quick fix when reading, especially if you are a busy mama or have a demanding job. You need a tale that is going to tempt you to read further but one that you can quickly gobble up in one sitting. You need a test drive into new author territory before jumping behind the wheel. Anotholgies like Eye Candy are the perfect places to test drive authors’ words before you thrust full throttle into their books.

When you always wish your favorite authors would write a bit more about their beloved characters that you love and then your wish is granted from a genie called the anthology. The Eye Candy anthology, a collection of short stories from many amazing authors in one book, is that glorified quickie we readers sometimes crave….that wham-bam-thank you, sir or ma’am.

As I only met two series out of the five that the Eye Candy anthology features, I read and reviewed those.

SO MUCH MORE – J. DANIELS

Smoldering sex, sweet surprises, endearing moments, Halloween haunts, and friends who are family make up So Much More! J. Daniels gives readers with more Bama Boys, back to the series of Southern sass, steam and swoon. Each Eye Candy chapter blesses us with a Bama Boy’s point-of-view, an insight into what’s happened since the series stopped.

Ben and Mia return and they are as cute and captivating as ever, especially as parents who still are hot for each other. Their family life is so sweet…so endearing and I loved the sneak peek into their life with littles.

This need—this overwhelming desire to taste and touch and fuck this woman never goes away. Never lessens in the slightest. It’s always there.

Reed and Beth keep the kink in marriage and you have to applaud their Christian Grey creativity. One word: rope! I missed Reed’s deliciously dirty mouth and loved getting a taste.

“Watching you with that rope is driving me crazy. Because I know what you can do with that rope, Reed. I know exactly what you can do with it. And I want that.”

Luke and Tessa are still as feisty as ever and always entertaining couple. I like my alphas a little tarnished and perfectly imperfect, and Luke is all that and more. Tessa always makes me both laugh and gasp in shock…no filter. I LOVE her and still want to be her bestie!

I shouldn’t get off on riling Tessa up and getting a helluva lot of lip from her, but I do. And she gets off on giving it.

Tully and Riley…the best for last and oh do they have a sweet surprise! Tully is still my favorite Bama boy who is entertaining and endearing to me!

This is real—the way she’s looking at me. Those big, blue flames burning me up the way they always do.

That ‘darlin,’ a Southern gal’s kryptonite, gets me every time.

“We were always meant for this, darlin’.”

That Tully charm is twisted around me and I’ll never let it go. I’ll never want to let go of the Bama Boys.

GETTING DOWN – HELENA HUNTING

Heat, humor, and heart make up one delicious delight as Helena Hunting weaves her writing magic into Getting Down. Cinderella meets superheroes and one villain or two in a fierce and fire-hot fairytale that leaves you wanting more. You’ll end this taste of a treat needing the next novel by Helena Hunting, Hooking Up, to satisfy the ache that Getting Down leaves.

The chemistry continues to combust between Bancroft ‘Bane’ and Ruby! These two were created for each other. I loved them both so much!

Serious Bancroft makes me want to get naked. All versions of Bane make me want to get naked, but when he’s all scowly and furrowed brow it makes my lady parts want attention.

Ruby channeled her inner Violet and I was in HUMOR HEAVEN!

“Naughty girl.” He drags a knuckle along my slit. “You’re ready for my cock right now, aren’t you.”

Holy hot! Bane’s deliciously dirty words turned me into wanton woman.

Throw Ruby’s bestie, Amie, along with Bancroft’s cousin, Armstrong, and his brother, Lexington, into the mix and things quickly get interesting and oh-so-more intoxicating! Getting Down bleeds angst along with humor and heart!

I turn away from Lexington so I don’t succumb to the urge to look at his abs again.

A taste of Bane’s brother, Lex, left me wanting a bigger bite. I also can’t wait for Amie’s story as that bit of fire she showed in Getting Down made me want to see more of Amie’s flames.

I LOVED getting down with GETTING DOWN, which lit me up in laughter, blazed my body, and shot sparks to my heart and soul!!! Packed with humor, heat, and heart, Getting Down is a rom-com that delivers it all!

Eye Candy is full of tricks and this perfect treat SATISFIES EVERYWHERE! This anthology is a compilation of character favorites, beloved heroes and heroines who feel like family. Porter by Georgia Cates

Porter is the final book in the Lovibond series and I’m super sad to see it end! I’ve loved all these books and while Porter wasn’t my favourite of the three is was still a brilliant story that I devoured.

Porter & Frankee have an instant connection. They are breathtaking. SUPER HOT. Georgia wrote these two so well. They matched perfectly.

Porter is quick paced, it holds the reader captive and refuses to let go.

Craft beer and the sexy men who brew it.

My employee’s daughter. The tomboy. The kid who once did odd jobs around the brewery. That’s all she was… until three years passed and she walked into my office for an interview.

Review – Crown Of Betrayal by Graceley Knox

My rating is 5 out of 5

Graceley Knox has once again blown us away with this faery mystical world. The level of talent and the way you are drawn into the story leaves you wanting so much more. This series is going down as the best Fae series ever.
We get to see more of the plot unfold with plenty of twists and turns. You may think you know what’s coming, then boom…you never saw that coming.
Let me tell you, this is the first book I read with goblins and I never knew they could be so hot.

The steam picks up between Ever and Dare. I can’t be more excited for book 3.

Crown of Betrayal (A Wicked Kingdoms Novel Book 2)
