When I saw the title for this book, I was reminded of the game we often play during FB takeovers. Marry Screw Kill. And I thought what an interesting concept for this story. It turned out to be so much more than I thought it would be. I found myself really unable to put this one down – so many twists and turns. So many moments that made me sigh and then cringe all in the same few pages. This story is definitely different from any game we’ve ever played.

Harlow Masters lost everything when she lost her mother at the hands of an angry boyfriend. She witnessed her mother’s death and awoke to find herself being cared for totally by one Dr. James Elliot. He became her everything – her food, her shelter, her protector. Her jailer. Isolating her from everyone and everything. Obsessed and unapologetic. His own little sex kitten. He plans to marry the much younger Harlow but Harlow knows that things are not right. She’s lost and rootless. And then someone comes along who will change everything.

Enter Sinclair Elliott. Nephew to James and a future doctor himself. When he meets Harlow his whole world, his purpose, his center changes and shifts. He sees James for who he is – a manipulator and captor of a beautiful soul. Sin and Harlow feel an instant connection and fight what they know they shouldn’t have. But nothing stops the course of love, not even an uncle who is determined to have his way.

I ran the gamut of emotions while reading MSK. Sinclair is just that – sin. But he is sexy, sincere and devoted to Harlow. His life changed and now he is determined to be the man that his patients, his friends and Harlow need him to be. Harlow made me so angry on the one hand and then made me shed anguished tears on the other. In the end she made me so proud. James… Liv Morris made this man such the villian. He disgusted me with his sadistic actions and made my sin crawl. But I wanted more. I wanted to know more about him, why he was the way he was.

I enjoyed my first read from Liv Morris very much. I’m looking forward to reading more from this amazingly talented lady. FANTASTIC, LIV!

Review – Revenge by CA Harms

Revenge!

It’s was what we wanted and my word did we get it! This book is an outstanding way to end the series. Twisty, thrilling and enthralling CA Harms has well and truly rounded off this series better than I EVER could have imagined!

Josh & Gabby’s relationship is put to the test with bonds stretched. The internal and external struggles that both characters go through during this book is at times, heart breaking. I really felt for Gabby in this book.

As with the previous instalments, twists and turns plague the story line, still I tried to guess what was going to happen and I can honestly say I NEVER figured it out. My heart pounded so hard throughout. The fast, thrilling pace continues and gives way to a truly addictive ending.

4.5 spectacular series finale stars.

I’m free falling. Floating through a sky of intense feels. 100% weightless from reading Weightless. This book has left me feeling so inspired, so free, so beautiful. My breath has left my body, my heart is full and my soul is happy.

Weightless by the AMAZING Kandi Steiner is nothing short of SENSATIONAL.

As I sit here now with tears in my eyes I think I can honestly say this is one of the best books I’ve read! In my TOP 10 books ever. Books like this, books that infiltrate every single part of you, books that take away everything but leave you with SO MUCH MORE. Books that leave you feeling so full after reading, so happy, so emotional are hard to come by.
The amount of feelings that hit me while reading this book is crazy. I was left breathless on so many occasions. Gut wrenching, heart shattering sentences twisted themselves into this book, pounding through me like an erratic heartbeat. Leaving behind a truly outstanding read that deserves way more than 5 stars.

Kandi writes this book, so intensely that each and every word sticks. Every sentence pulls on something inside. Every descriptive word burns through and resonates. The heat, the blissful tension, the white hot, electric current that electrifies and lights up the experience of reading this book is, so beautiful. So true. So perfect.

Inspiration FILLS this book. Natalie is SO REAL. It’s refreshing reading a character that starts out how she does, it’s refreshing reading a journey that SO MANY go through EVERY DAY. Refreshing to read a book where you can 100% relate to the pressures Natalie has.

Rhodes. He’s something super special people. The dark, damaged protector, fuelled by heartache and loss stole my heart so many times. I lost count how often everything, pulled deep within me for this man. My emotions, that were already scattered, up and ran riot because of him. His devotion, his love, his fierce nature seared through me, leaving me all tingly, breathless.

Weightless blew me away. Like a thunderstorm it rocked my core, lit me up and left me dancing in the most refreshing rain imaginable. I’m in love with all things Natalie and Rhodes, I feel them. I breathe with them.

I cried like I was at the sweetest wedding. I felt it all as the book bled into me.

The best guilty pleasure, Man Candy is an entertaining and enthralling escape that embedded me deeply into this book. This tale is as tender and touching as it is sexy and sassy. A sweet, sexy, and seductive story that stole my panties along with my heart, Man Candy is a must-read masterpiece of pure pleasure and is Melanie Harlow’s most sensational story yet. I fell in love with my Man Candy and want to devour it just a bit longer as the taste is simply delicious.

Reeve Sallis is a gorgeous, tall, dark-haired and blue-eyed billionaire. Powerful. Passionate. Penetrating. Possessive. Predator. Reeve is a man of many layers. I love him. I loathe him. Reeve owns Emily. Reeve owns me.

Emily is reeling from Amber’s return. The best friend who was supposed to be dead. The one who is now in the middle of whatever it is that’s forming between Reeve and Emily. Emily is unsure where she stands and unnerved.

Truths unfold as Emily and Reeve confess, leaving both disappointed. Deceived. Devastated.

Emily doesn’t fully trust Reeve but she wants to. She wants to love and trust this man and give him everything she has. Everything she is. Everything she wants to be.

Gah! These powerful and poignant words pull at my heartstrings. The feels flow HARD. Reeve is intense and incredible. I LOVE this complex but caring man. I can’t stop swooning. I don’t want to.

“I wish you could see this Emily. You’re so beautiful like this. Bent over and open for me.”

The chemistry burns hot like fire. So intense and intoxicating. I’m melting. My body is aflame. Reeve can just take me NOW.

“He loved me. He loved me enough to say it out loud. But he’d loved her too. Yes. I did belong to him. But I belonged to Amber too.”

Danger has pushed Reeve’s former and current loves under the same roof. While two is company, three is a crowd. Emily is ready to throw it all away. Concede and let Amber hold the cards….again.
