When a Katy Evans book lands in my hot hands, I shut out the world because that book BECOMES MY WORLD. Nothing exists except Katy Evans’ words and me, words that I devour yet savor, words that penetrate straight through my heart like Cupid’s arrows, shooting sensations straight through me. Her brilliant and beautiful books are my love…my life.

I clutched this story with a bit of anxiety, adrenaline coursing through my veins, as I exited my everyday life and entered the world of the Womanizer. I knew that this last man standing in the trio of manwhores—the Womanizer—would cast a spell on me as the others did and claim me for life. Oh was I claimed; I swiftly succumbed to this story that slowly and smoothly seduced me. Womanizer just began and I already did not want it to end…ever.

Review – Hail Mary by Nicola Rendell

Annnnnnd the crowd goes WILD! The crowd being me because I’ve finished Hail Mary and I think I’m having some pretty big feelings for this book.

Nicola Rendell has once again taken romance and BLOWN IT UP. She has once again put a spin on everything we know and love and made it better. More intense. More passionate. Just MORE. Nicola is an enigma. I have no idea where she sprung from back when she released Professed but HOLY WOW this woman is a writing goddess and I’ll happily bathe in all her wordy magic. Nicola is a true diamond and story telling GENIUS. I honestly don’t have enough praise for the woman. She gets it ALL. I instantly fell in love with Hail Mary. It immediately became one of my top reads of 2016 and I COULD NOT put it down. It infiltrated itself so bloody deep. From the indestructible sexual tension that just BLEEDS from this book, to the breathtaking romance, to the devastation that pulled at my heartstrings, I was 100% IN. Nothing was going to stop me devouring this book. Even Frankie Knuckles has wedged himself into my heart.

Jimmy Falconi, ruthless, raw and powerful but so damn passionate and beautiful. The man made me all tingly. He sent my emotions CRAZY. I was ALL over this beautiful specimen. He rendered me speechless, left me breathless and made my heart skip a beat.

Pim is a bird in a cage struggling to be free. Though despite the hardship through the pits of hell, Pim is a warrior armed with her head in a battle of wills that aided her through the abuse, and the aftermath where her body is healing from internal and external breaks and bruises. I admired her courage and tenacity so much!

“She wanted to be normal. Despite her fighting me, she secretly hoped I’d smash her cage and teach her how to be free.”

Pim is beautiful despite being battered and bruised. A fallen angel fighting for her life, Pim looks ethereal with a glow that accentuates her beauty and strength, inside and out. Elder can’t get this goddess out of his head or heart.

“Forget the past and only remember this.”

(His lips crashed against mine.)

Oh did I SWOON! I did not expect Elder to melt me to mush, but he surprised me in the best way, making me fall for him even harder!

The chemistry between these two mostly strangers is fire-hot…a slow burn. Passion that permeates from a mere look. Understanding from a shared bond that neither can grasp nor get.

I LOVED ELDER, MY DARK HERO, SO MUCH!!! He is complex and caring, and dark and dangerous. Pim is breaking through her shell and rediscovering Tasmin. This jilted bird is spreading her wings, preparing to fly, and it’s all because of her dark king who wants his captivating queen. Elder can only hope that his beautiful bird—his soul mate—doesn’t fly home to her past life.

Oh did Dollars STEAL MY HEART, picking up some of the pieces that Pennies shattered. Dollars is hope and heart, strength and salvation, and love and war. Dollars was the hurricane to my heart, the fire to my feels, and the calm to my soul-slaying storm. Ups and downs. Twists and turns. Bruises and burns. I went on a roller coaster of a ride of gut-wrenching heartbreak fused with happiness and hope. I was utterly immersed and intoxicated, completely overcome by this story. I FELT EVERYTHING!

I felt every word I read in this pulse-pounding UNPUTDOWNABLE soul-searing story. Dollars bared its soul to me and stole mine. The spellbinding and spine-tingling Dollars shook my soul, grabbed my gut, and hit my heart so hard that my emotions bled long after the story was over. DOLLARS OWNED EVERY PART OF ME.

Review – Unplugged by LK Collins

Instead I flipped back, reread and then all I could really say was… WHAT JUST HAPPENED HERE? LK has the innate ability to leave her readers so breathless, so angry but so unable to turn away. No way could I stop reading once twist began. I was all in for the ride until its delightful end.

Hot, steamy, twisty… Merritt can curl your toes with his dirty talk and delicious moves. Quinn is his match, giving just as good as she can get. Unplugged is another stellar story by one talented author. It seems with each story LK Collins is honing her craft, getting that much better. I am amazed that with each read, I fall more and more in love with her work and look forward to what she plans to give her readers next!

I fell in love with Melanie Harlow’s latest sensation, After We Fall, by just reading the synopsis. I had not even sunk myself into story and I KNEW it would be a heart-thrashing hit. Cowboy…OH YES for this Southern gal. Ex-Army soldier…DOUBLE YES for this Army wife. Brooding, hot, muscular, rugged alpha…YES, YES, YES! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!

After We Fall held me in its clutches, quickly captivating and claiming me in one utterly UNPUTDOWNABLE tale. I was at this story’s mercy, needing to sink myself so deeply into After We Fall that I never wanted to surface for air. This heartbreaking yet heartwarming story stole my breath where I was drowning to breathe.

My emotions were engulfed by this beautiful yet broken book, feels flowing all over the pages. Chills ran through me. My breaths were bated. My pulse raced. My heart shattered. I felt every word I read. After We Fall was my adrenaline…my anguish…my ache…my addiction. I WAS ALL IN.

Review – Twined Bond by Emma Hart

You know? I’ve followed this series from the very beginning, I’ve eagerly anticipated each and every instalment and I’ve enjoyed every trip to Holly Woods that I’ve been on.

Now after reading Twined Bond, the very last one, I’m feeling kinda lost. This whole journey has been bittersweet. I have so many moments from this series that will stick with me, but I honestly can’t believe it’s over.

Twined Bond was, without a doubt, the best one of the whole series. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Emma not only did justice to her characters but she did justice to us the reader too. It’s clear to see that Emma has wrote a book that she herself would be happy to read, everything was covered, I have no criticism at all. It was all so perfect.

Twined Bond, I feel, was the most hard hitting too. Emma basically ripped all my emotions out of me, smashed them into a bag, gave them a HUGE shake and then stuck them back in me. I was all over the place. Emphasised by the fact that I actually never wanted the book to end.

I’m not going to say anymore. I can’t without risking spoiling it for someone. What I will say though is that, if you haven’t read this series, if you haven’t become acquainted with Noelle and her crazy, hysterical family, Drake, her alpha protector, and the mystery and suspense that floods the series then you are missing out. This series is fantastic. Each and every book will keep you guessing, each and every book will make you fall a little further in love with Drake and Noelle and each and every book will become a favourite. Twined Bond was the perfect way to end!

Now excuse me while I go sit in a corner and mourn all the greatness that is Holly Woods!

My best friend’s love triangle is now a happy little circle. My sister-in-law just gave birth to my gorgeous new niece who is the world’s best cuddler, and Nonna’s not on my back every ten minutes about the fact we’re getting married in one month.

Review – Major Love by Kate Stewart

Major Love, is a hot, humorous, heartbreaking read that pitched its way into my heart and simply won’t let go.

There is a reason Kate sits highly on my list of favourite authors. Kate’s books balance out in the most perfect ways, while invoking every emotion possible.

In Major Love, Kate took me on a breathtaking ride through loss and pain, love and laughter. Multiple times, I found myself laughing hysterically then almost ugly crying. I found that my heart broke before it was glued back together in the most beautiful way. I also got VERY hot around the collar because WOAH! April and Andy are on FI-YAH!

I’ve been desperately awaiting this book, Andy’s story, since finishing Anything But Minor. When I got it, I dropped EVERYTHING and dove in and my word I fell hard and fast! Kate brought everything to the table with Andy, she made him hot, raw and powerful but she also made him sweet and vulnerable. Andy lit a fire so deep inside me that I just couldn’t put out no matter how hard I tried. And as the book went on that fire blazed bigger and BIGGER.

Matching Andy with April was genius. Seriously everything about the two of them was just SO RIGHT. From start to finish, Kate made them connectable, relatable, lovable. There was nothing fast about their love either, don’t get me wrong, it was there, the whole time and you could FEEL it so much but it builds slowly. It’s truly magnificent and it proves how fantastic Kate’s writing actually is. You will fall in love along with April and Andy. You’ll hurt with them, you’ll laugh with them. It’s honestly all so perfect!

Kate definitely hit a home run with Major Love, a sports romance that blasted it’s way into my top reads of 2016 and will forever hold a special place my heart!

Review – Doctor Bad Boy by Ainsley Booth and Sadie Haller

And while Max is on the cover of Doctor Bad Boy, this story really belongs to the woman who would turn his world upside down.
