Here I sit hours after reading, still STUNNED SPEECHLESS from Firefly by Molly McAdams, a STUNNING STORY that stole, stripped, and shattered both my heart and soul. It’s as if this story was my perfect match, my soulmate in words. Firefly felt like it was made for me: MY PERFECT STORM.

This story stole my breath, where I was left gasping for air. This story stole my soul, a soul that equally shattered and soared. This story stole my heart, helpless from the words that squeezed out every emotion, but a heart that bled for and beat for this book. Actually, this story didn’t steal a thing. I SURRENDERED my body, breath, heart, soul, and every emotion to Firefly.

TRUTH: Three lines. Just three lines of this story had me in tears.

Firefly gripped me immediately, chasing my heart and soul like a fierce fire where I fell to the flames. This firestorm of feels was a fight I would not…did not want to win. Firefly lit me up with life, one where every breath matched every breathtakingly beautiful word. Light to light. Dark to dark. Beauty to beauty. Feel to feel. I FELT FIREFLY EVERYWHERE.

TRUTH: When I ‘met’ the hero and heroine, it was INSTA-LOVE. The characters made me fall in love with them immediately where I rooted for their forbidden romance to fold into love. I felt Lily and Dare’s story where it became mine too.

She glowed so damn bright … and when we were together, it was like setting a dry forest on fire in the dead of night.

Lily is as equally brave as she is beautiful. She is a light in a dark world, one where she doesn’t belong. I loved her strength and admired her courage to risk it all for love.

This connection … it felt as if my soul was screaming — begging — for me to recognize its mate was within reach.

Dare, this dark hero with a huge heart stole my heart! This alpha was my addiction. His pain was mine. Dare set me on fire! My body was on fire while my heart bled. Dare made me SMOLDER and SWOON!!!

“I was made to love you. I just found you in the wrong life.”

I was GUTTED with words that both gripped my heart and tore it apart!!!

Together, Lily and Dare are mesmerizing…just magical! This is a couple fighting fate and all the odds. I loved watching them conquer their demons! Dare and Lily have a shared bond that neither can grasp nor get….one not of merely lovers but of destined soulmates.

“How do I feel? Firefly … I’m fucking terrified.”

“Of what?” I asked when the silence became too much.

“You.”

These words stole my breath, bearing down on my heart where it beat and bled for this book.

I knew how this would end. We were like fire, but fire never lasts. And when it’s over, devastation is left in its wake.

Firefly is devastatingly beautiful, a book that bleeds heart and hope. I cried a mix of sorrow and swoon. My HEART BLED for this book while my SOUL SHATTERED and SOARED.

My emotions were entangled around every word.

Firefly is a movie that plays in your head while reading. Firefly is a Romeo and Juliette romance with a modern day twist. It’s forbidden love. It’s messy love. It’s PERFECTLY IMPERFECT LOVE. It’s so much love. Oh did I love thee so much!!!

This incredibly talented writer writes from the heart and you can tell her heart is poured into every beautiful and brilliant word. Her heartfelt writing hits my heart hard like a hurricane EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. EVERY WORD MATTERS. Meaningful. Mesmerizing. Magnificent.

I was a moth drawn to a fierce and feel-wielding flame; the flame was Firefly. I DARE you not to feel this FIREFLY!!!

“Nothing’s getting past me,” I assured her.

Her breath washed over my lips as I leaned in to kiss her again when she whispered, “I thought we were talking about you.”

I paused for a few seconds, then looked up into her hazel eyes. “What?”

“I think I’m in danger from you.”

My brow pulled tight, and I forced out a low, frustrated laugh. “Me.”

She nodded again, the movement of her head so slow as her eyes explored mine. “I need you to let me go for so many reasons, but I easily forget why when you don’t. I think there was a reason neither of us crossed that invisible barrier before today. Because being in your arms?” She hesitated, her tongue quickly darting out to wet her lips. “Trust me, it’s dangerous.”

A weight pressed down on my chest, making it hard to breathe. Because damn it if she wasn’t right.

There were dozens of girls over the years who’d meant nothing more than a night. Maybe two. Not one could I remember the name of, most I couldn’t remember their face.

Then there’d been one who I would’ve sold my soul for if I could’ve had one more night with her.
