Review – Ashton by Jade Sinner

There is something magical and meaningful in a friends-to-lovers romance that makes me instantly fall in love. Maybe it’s the raw and real romance carved from friendship. Perhaps it’s the angst and uncertainty that ensue during the metamorphism of friends to more. Whatever it is, it’s beautiful. Epic love. Ashton by Jade Sinner is a enticing epic love story that’s short but oh-so sensational.

Captivating and combustible, Ashton is a sweet and sexy friends-to-lovers romance full of feels. Friends morph into lovers as angst pours from the pages in Ashton, and I loved every mesmerizing minute! I consumed Ashton and it—and he—consumed me. This page-turner of a tale enraptured me with its down home feel; a beautiful book where friends become more.

The synopsis pulled me in where I became utterly immersed in these pages of pleasure.

“Friendship—forever and always.”

“That is our agreement.”

Panty-melting hot Ashton and beautiful Jess have been best friends forever. They grew up together. They are each other’s confidants.

“Our friendship has seen it all. We know each other’s deepest, darkest secrets and we’re still here—through childhood, our teens, college, and now. Always.”

Ashton and Jess love each other but are not lovers. Jess has always wanted a forever guy; Ashton has always wanted fast flings.

“What if I never find that forever guy?”

“You will, but if you don’t, you’ll always have me.”

They vowed to never cross the friend zone line.

“The one thing we haven’t done, not ever, is move beyond friendship.”

Until one call on one night changes everything. One night of passion. One broken agreement.

“Take me. I want to be consumed. I want to think about only you, the one man who’s never lied to me.”

“And tomorrow?”

“You’ll still be my best friend.”

I’m swooning as these words shoot little Cupid darts straight to my heart. I’m melting from head to toe.

“I lean forward and take her lips, capture them, claim them.”

Boundaries have been broken. The friend zone has been crossed. A relationship has been changed and, perhaps, compromised.

“Ashton is my friend. That is all we’ll ever be.”

Like a fine wine with age, Jade Sinner’s books get better and better. Each tale is more terrific than the last. Jade Sinner’s short, sweet, and sexy stories have become my addiction and oh was I achingly addicted to Asher. Asher was my fix. My desire. My decadence. Asher sated my hunger for a fast rush of a read filled with heat and humor but a lot of heart.

Jade Sinner’s stories have quickly become my go-to quick reads as I can see their stories morph, like a friends-to-lovers romance, into something amazing. Something better. Something beautiful. Something you need to read like Ashton.

Friendship—forever and always.

That is our agreement. Besides, I’m not looking for sex. I get lots of sex! I’m also not looking for forever. I’m a now kind of man.

Jess has been my best friend since we were dirty faced kids finding trouble around every corner. We are the kind of friends who are always there for one another, through thick and thin, the one who knows each other’s secrets and dreams. That can’t change just because we’ve both grown up, or because she’s beautiful, funny, smart and quick witted.

Until it does.

One call, one night. That won’t change are agreement…then again, agreements can be amended, right?

Ashton is a manwhore. I’ve heard all his stories and despite them all, I love him.

Not the passionate love. I’ve never looked at him like that—like the cocky, confident, sexy, man he’s become. Because to me, he’s just Ashton, my best friend—until one night.

One night when I learn that the rumors are true, that in reality, they don’t do him justice. His mad skills are off the charts. Yet, that can’t change our agreement. One night has to be enough.

It has to be.

I’m not giving up my best friend for crazy hot lovemaking. But then again, do I have to?

Read this fun, predictable, short, hot, and steamy book and learn how friendship can become more! Ashton The Agreement, is a standalone with a guaranteed HEA. Don’t miss your next bookgasm.
