Blog Tour – Fallen by K.L. Silver

Fallen 2

TEN years ago, the most handsome boy in school asked Zoey Benton to senior prom. The Olympic-bound darling of the gymnastics world was over the moon with excitement.

SHE had no way of knowing he was a budding psychopath, as well. WHEN she comes to, she’s vomiting, her dress is askew, and a chunk of her hair is missing. Shattered, she has no recollection of what happened. A career-ending injury soon follows. With her Olympic dreams quashed and her world in free-fall, Zoey retreats within herself.

AFTER a decade of healing, she meets the man of her dreams. An Olympic gold medal wrestler, Ash Harrington is a national hero. To Zoey, he’s everything a man ought to be and more. She’s just beginning to live and love again when the unimaginable happens. Gymnasts begin to turn up dead. Raped and killed in unspeakable fashion, their broken bodies are left on display for the world to see.

YET, this calculated killer is fixated on one gymnast in particular—the one that got away. Biding his time and honing his skills, he saves the best for last. If Zoey falls into his clutches this time, there will be no second chances.

SET against a backdrop of elite gymnastics, FALLEN will keep you BALANCED on the edge of your seat!

– “Like most soulless sociopaths, he was brilliant at affecting emotions, duplicating behaviors, and simulating compassion – otherwise known as pretending to give a shit…”

– Only his parents had an inkling as to the depths of his depravity. Early on, they realized they’d spawned seriously damaged goods. He’d hear them screaming late at night, each blaming the other for the ‘monster’ they’d created. Not that he’d given a shit, other than their racket made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. He’d never felt any connection to them. His instinct was to feed from them until he was glutted and they were gutted.

– “A knot of desire unfurled in her belly, molten lava hot. Her panties didn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of withstanding the heat. This man was dangerously fall-in-loveable…”

Into the Light.jpg

An investigator’s search for a friend draws her into a world darker than she could have imagined.

Sara Adams awakes blind, unable to remember the most basic details of her life, but her darkness seems a blessing when she discovers the terrors of The Light.

Stella Montgomery investigates the news on the mean streets of Detroit, where she’s noticed a disturbing trend: young women are vanishing. When her best friend disappears, Stella investigates—despite warnings from her police detective boyfriend—following a twisted trail that leads her through the city’s most dangerous and forsaken precincts. There she uncovers something more sinister than she could have imagined: a shadowy organization known as The Light, led by the enigmatic Father Gabriel.

As Sara struggles to understand her place in the strange world she’s awakened to—an oppressive cult demanding unquestioning obedience—and her feelings for Jacob, the husband she can’t recall and whose harsh and tender attentions confuse and beguile her, Stella risks all to discover the truth. But enlightenment always comes with a price…

Into the Light teaser 1 (1)

Jacob leaned over me, his chest flattening my breasts. With our proximity in the darkened room, I could only make out his form, his shoulders, arms, and the silhouette of his hair against some distant faint light. There were no details. Hearing his familiar voice, without seeing his unfamiliar eyes, eased my anxiety. He smoothed the hair away from my face and kissed my nose. “We both follow Father Gabriel. You aren’t the only one who must obey the rules. I can’t question why you lost those memories any more than you can question me. All I can do is hold tight to the memories I have of us, for both of us. Even though you don’t remember my face, I remember yours.” He traced under my eyes, wiping away the remnants of tears. “I remember your beautiful blue eyes, the way they open with amazement at new discoveries and the way they flutter as you come apart beneath me.” He was back to stroking my hair. “I remember the first time we made love and every time since.

“I remember the first time I saw you, the first time I heard your voice, and”—he brushed his lips against mine—“the first time I kissed you.” He scoffed, “It wasn’t supposed to happen, but I couldn’t resist. I knew you were mine from the first time I saw you, even if you didn’t.”

His memories gave me a sliver of my past. “I didn’t?”

“No, not then.  You were dating someone else.”

“What? That was before we were here, right?”

“Yes, it was before everything.”

He sighed and laid his head back on his pillow. I was afraid he’d stop talking, yet more scared to ask him to continue. Thankfully, he didn’t stop, but when he resumed speaking, his voice had a faraway tone, as if he was seeing it all again.

“You were laughing, and I thought you were one of the prettiest women I’d ever seen. You have a great laugh.” He reached for my hand and intertwined our fingers. “I know this crash course in remembering how to be an Assemblyman’s wife hasn’t given you many opportunities for laughter. That’s why I want your memories to come back. Sometimes it seems like we’re back at the beginning. I want to be beyond that . . .” He was back up with his elbow beside me and his head on his hand. Looking down at me, he continued, “To where you laugh instead of cry.”

“I’m sorry.”

He touched my lips. “To where you’re not constantly apologizing.”

I kissed his finger. “I’d like that too, but you have to admit, this hasn’t been easy. I mean my eyes, leg, and ribs. I’ve just gotten my sight back. We’ve been banished, and my hair is gone.”

“I do.” He exhaled. “I admit that it’s been a rough few weeks, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

“The Light?” I asked with a smirk.

“Yes. See? It’s something everyone wants.”

Review – Say You’ll Stay by Corinne Michaels

Say You'll Stay Cover

Say You’ll Stay by Corinne Michaels

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” ~ Corinthians 13:4-13

Sometimes you read a book that is so beautiful that you’re left in a haze, floating in the air where life is more precious from above. You wonder how mere words….WORDS…can render you so full of FEELS where your emotions are still dangling on clouds long after the story has stopped. Emotional ecstasy. Corinne Michaels’ latest second-chance romance, Say You’ll Stay, is THAT FEEL-GOOD BOOK that renders you breathless and blissful from all of the heart that is poured into this piece of penned perfection.

Say You’ll Stay consumed me from the very first page; immersing me deeply into this devastatingly beautiful book. Chills ran through me. My breaths were bated. My pulse raced. My heart quickly broke as tragedy strikes hard. Presley and her two young boys are forced to flee back home to Presley’s family in Tennessee after their lives are turned upside down. Tears are starting to trickle as waves of despair crash into Presley, crashing into me.

“Black. That’s how I feel—void of any light or color.”

My tears are falling fast and hard, soaking my face. I’m nearly gasping for air, drowning to breathe, as I can’t help but become immersed in the devastation.

This poor mother, Presley, is still reeling from heartbreak yet she has to rebuild her life and muster up strength for her two boys. As a mama, I am devastated right with Presley. Now she is forced to face Zach Hennington, who broke her heart seventeen years ago when they were teens.

Say You'll Stay Teaser 4.png

“He’s the same boy I fell in love with at twelve. He’s the boy who taught me to love. He’s the boy I saw myself growing old with, having children with, and yet he destroyed me.”

Presley left to forget Zach; now that she is back in her hometown and can only remember.

Say You'll Stay Teaser 5.png

“That’s the thing about young love in a small town—it never dies.”

Presley is running from the past as she tries to overcome the tragedy of the present; Zach is running towards her.

“She’s the reason I haven’t been able to move forward in my life.”

Where there is darkness, there is light. Where there is heartbreak, there is hope. Where there is hope, there is healing. A misunderstanding tore them apart, leaving Presley bitter and broken, but she and Zach are reunited. Their love, despite tragedy and time, has never died.

“Love doesn’t let go. It grows stronger.”

Presley and Zach are a ball of fire. Their passion pours through the flames. They are turbulent yet so tender. As Zach pounds his way into Presley’s head and heart, he uncovers feelings that Presley tried her hardest to bury.

Say You'll Stay Teaser.jpg

“My heart skips a beat. As much as I will try to fight the draw—it’s still there. Zach holds a string that’s tied inside of me. If he pulls, I’ll unravel.”

A boy and girl then; now a man and woman. Zach is the match that lights Presley’s body in flames. The sparks that resonated years ago are now reignited, burning brighter and scorching stronger than ever. Their love has survived heaven and hell.

Say You'll Stay Teaser 3.png

“It’s not because of you, Presley. It’s because it’s always been you.”

I SWOONED HARD as these soul-wielding words clamped down on my heart, squeezing so many emotions out as I fell even more deeply in love with this story and this beautiful couple.

Presley can’t fight her feelings for Zach any longer. Zach took a part of her heart when they were teens and never gave it back. She owns his heart and always has. Their love is the kind that happens once in a lifetime. Soul mates who have lost their way and have finally come home.

“You were my first kiss, my first love, the first man to touch me. I want you to kiss me, and I need to kiss you.”

These words are so real, raw and romantic…gah! I’m awe-struck in the beauty bleeding off of the pages that carve out a part of my heart with each line.I cry. I smile. I hope with everything I have that Presley and Zach get the happy ending that they have fought long and hard for and deserve so desperately.

Say You'll Stay Teaser 6.png

“I’ve always closed my eyes and seen you beside me. It was never over.”

Say You’ll Stay will stay with me like that special and sweet first love, owning a piece of my heart forever.

One word.

It was all he had to do. Instead, he got on that bus and took my heart with him.

That was seventeen years ago.

I moved on. Marriage. Kids. White picket fence. Everything I ever wanted, but my husband betrayed me and I was left once again.

Alone, penniless, and with two boys, I had no choice but to return to Tennessee. He wasn’t supposed to be there. I should’ve been safe. However, fate has a way of stepping in.

This time around, the tables are turned. It’s my decision. Second chances do exist, but I don’t know if we can repair what’s already been broken . . .

Review – Smut by Karina Halle

Smut AMAZON - Copy.jpg

Review graphic

Oh, how I love a great enemies to lovers romance! Sprinkle in some fantastic humor, a hot guy with an awesome British accent and a nerdy girl whose really a surprisingly sexy siren and you have Smut. Even better? Smut really centers around something we all love – dirty, highly dirty but you can’t put it down smutty books. I was sold from page one!

They hated each other from the first look. Blake and Amanda were in a creative writing class together… he was trying to graduate. She was trying to prove to her family that she had what it took be a successful writer. From day one he felt she was an uptight self righteous bore. She felt like he was an arrogant playboy pig who shouldn’t have been in the class in the first place. They hated each other and wouldn’t it be their luck to have to be placed together on the final class project? He simply wanted to finish the project and graduate so that he could help his father run the family business. She just wanted to write her novel in peace.

They didn’t expect the project to go as well as it did. He didn’t expect to approach her with another proposition that would benefit them both – to continue to write together and make a killing in self publishing what else? Smut. Something else they didn’t plan for? To fall madly, deeply and lustfully for each other. Who would have thought the sizzle on the page would lead to an inferno between the sheets?

I laughed throughout reading this whole book. So many moments of funny – one the funniest involving a beloved pet named Fluffy. Off the charts chemistry leads to some panty melting, sit on a block of ice moments between Blake and Amanda. So sexy and so many swoony moments in the building of their relationship! The secondary characters were fantastic as well and added so much to the story. This is not your typical romance and that’s part of what makes Smut such a fun read.

Great job, Karina!

4 Funny but Rather Smutty stars!

What happens when the kink between the pages leads to heat between the sheets?

All Blake Crawford wants is to pass his creative writing course, get his university degree and take over his dad’s ailing family business. What Amanda Newland wants is to graduate at the top of her class, as well as finally finish her novel and prove to her family that writing is a respectful career.

What Blake and Amanda don’t want is to be paired up with each other for their final project but that’s exactly what they both get when they’re forced to collaborate on a writing piece. Since Amanda thinks Blake is a pushy asshole (with a panty-melting smirk and British accent) and Blake thinks Amanda has a stick up her ass (though it’s brilliant ass), they fight tooth and nail until they discover they write well together. They also might find each other really attractive, but that’s neither here nor there.

When their writing project turns out to be a success, the two of them decide to start up a secret partnership together using a pen name, infiltrating the self-publishing market in the lucrative genre of erotica. Naturally, with so much heat and passion between the pages, it’s not long before their dirty words become a dirty reality. Sure, they still fight a lot but at least there’s make-up sex now.

But even as they start to fall hard for each other, will their burgeoning relationship survive if their scandalous secret is exposed or are happily-ever-afters just a work of fiction?

She holds my gaze for a moment and something passes over her. Regret, maybe. Then she nods. “Sit down. Let’s work.”

And so we do. And for the first time in a long time, it’s strained. I’m about to suggest maybe we need the Estonian vodka anyway when she lets out an exasperated sigh over something she’s reading.

It happens to be something I wrote.

“What?” I ask, wondering what I did wrong.

She gives me the are you kidding me? look. “Okay, I was ignoring it earlier but I think you need to get a grip on some of this shit. This simply does not happen.”

“Explain, please.”

“I just think it’s unrealistic for there to be so much talking, let alone the fact that the first time they do it it’s in a public place.”

“Too much talking?”

“Yeah.” she scans over the document. “You know, give me your cock, oh you feel so good, harder, harder, you’re so big, fuck me harder big boy.”

“Have you even had good sex?” I ask incredulously.

She flinches. “Of course I have. And it’s none of your business.”

“We’re writing about sex. It’s completely my business. I’m not letting you interject your edits based on your personal experiences about sex because believe me, if the sex is good, you’re moaning my name.”

She raises her chin. “Maybe all those girls were faking it.”

Oh, brilliant.

“Excuse me?” I say, hands pressed against the table, nearly getting out of my chair. “You have no idea. I pride myself in giving a girl as many bloody orgasms as she can handle.”

“Bloody orgasms don’t sound like fun,” she jokes softly.

“They can be if you’re into knife play,” I tell her, even though that’s not exactly what I meant. Still, she scrunches up her nose. “Don’t knock it until you try it, but that’s neither here nor there. When you were with Alan, he must have made you come at least a few times.”

If he didn’t, I feel like finding the guy and showing him a thing or two for wasting four years of her life.

“Yeah,” she says flatly.

“And in the middle of that orgasm, didn’t you want to yell a few things?”

“And why didn’t you?”

She looks at her nails as if they’re suddenly fascinating. “It didn’t seem right. It was…too intimate. I would have felt dumb. He didn’t like any of that stuff.”

The plot thickens. “Any of what stuff?”

“Sex that didn’t involve the missionary position or the bed.”

My mouth drops open. My brain and penis can’t compute this. “I feel so sorry for you.”

We must remedy this.

She glares at me. “It’s not like I didn’t want to do it. I did. And he did try it. Most of it. But it always went back to the same old.”

I knew it. She’s a nerd on the streets and a freak in the sheets.

“I don’t mean to brag,” I tell her in all seriousness. “But you do realize that I could give you an orgasm in thirty seconds.”

Her eyes widen. I can’t tell if she’s horrified or intrigued. “I don’t believe you and I don’t want you to try.”

She’s not getting it. I frown, trying to explain. “If you’re having good sex and it’s with someone you’re comfortable with, you won’t worry about holding back. You’ll cry out all the nonsense you want, you’ll make noises like a pig and scream like you’re on fire because you truly can’t have a good orgasm unless you’re letting go on all accounts.” I lean back in my chair and study her, running my fingers along my jaw. “I would venture that every time you came with your ex, you were only experiencing half of what you should have been. How is it with your vibrators?”

I expect her to tell me to fuck off, that I’m getting too personal but to my surprise she gives me a small smile. “It’s better. But I do have a roommate with exceptionally good hearing.” She clears her throat. “Anyway, so I guess I’m wrong. The heroine can make all the noise she wants.”

“And have first time sex in public.”

“I don’t know…”

“Believe me, when you finally get a chance to fuck, you don’t care where it is. That’s why I always have a condom in my pocket. And the more public the sex, the sneakier you have to be, the hotter it is.”

“But in the book you would never get caught.”

“You don’t always get caught in real life too.”

I can see she wants to ask me where I’ve done it but she loses her nerve. “Okay.” She looks back to the document. “I accept defeat.”

But I don’t want her to. I want to prove to her I’m right and not have her take my word.

Is there a non-creepy way to show her just how amazing good sex can feel? I’m thinking not.

Or…maybe there is.

Review – Ramsay by Mia Sheridan

Ramsay Cover

by Mia Sheridan

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ramsay is a brilliantly written and breathtakingly beautiful second-chance love story that bleeds passion and angst as it breaks and builds the heart over and over again. Touching. Tender. Turbulent. Thought-provoking. Ramsay is not just a story but a full-blown immersion where the heart, breath, and soul collide as they become one.

I wanted to savor Ramsay but I could not help but devour this book with a desperate hunger like my last meal…my last breath. This story consumed me. Captivated me. Caressed my soul.

From the very first page, Mia Sheridan’s vivid words immediately came to life like paint to a canvas. The words are colors that splashed against my soul with each stroke of the brush. My senses were heightened as the world bared life from page to mind to heart. I smelled the fresh cut grass and honeysuckle. I tasted those scorching kisses. I felt Brogan’s strong arms around me as I felt everything in this story. I didn’t have to read much to know that the end result would be one magnificent masterpiece.

Just 10 percent into Ramsay and this story quickly overcame me—heart, head, body, breath and soul—captivating and crushing me ceaselessly. My heart nearly beat out of my chest. My body was on fire as my pulse pounded more with each page. Tears streamed early on and never really ceased.

I cried…a lot. Feelings bled into tears, heartbreak bled into happiness, hope rose from the bloodshed. I could not help but feel each word I read in Ramsay, my emotions entangled in this soul-searing story where they remained as I became unglued.

The beautiful man with an Irish accent and Gaelic tongue stole my heart and is still holding it tightly. As a teenager working with his father as gardeners at a rich family’s estate, Brogan Ramsay experienced the most passionate night of his life and the ultimate betrayal as he was used like a piece of trash by Lydia De Havilland, the beautiful and blonde rich girl who he cared for and he thought cared for him. Her mean-spirited and twisted brother, Stuart, discarded Brogan like a piece of trash, rendering his family and him useless and destitute.

“Why was she doing this to me? Making me hope for things I could never have?”

My heart instantly broke for this beaten and beautiful man. And oh is Brogan beautiful. I have a new boyfriend and his name is Brogan Ramsay. Black hair. Blue eyes. Tall. Muscular. Irish-American who speaks with an accent and in Gaelic. One of high conviction and honor. So complex. So caring. So protective. So beautiful—inside and out. I fell in insta-love with this multi-faceted man, a deep connection that felt a bit real.

Lydia De Havilland. Beautiful, blonde, curvy, and a former spoiled rich girl who has blossomed into a woman who is just as beautiful inside as out, like Brogan. I want to hate Lydia but I can’t as there is much more to her and this story than meets the eye. As quickly as I hated Lydia, I fell in love with her too. Lydia encounters Brogan seven years later and the tables have turned. He is no longer the sweet boy Lydia adored but is now a revenge-seeking avenger.

“My God. He hated me vehemently. After all this time.”

Brogan can’t forget that devastatingly beautiful night seven years ago where Lydia claimed his body and heart yet humiliated him.

“The humiliation. The rage. The hopelessness. The grief. The memory of what she’d done still pulled tight like an internal scar.”

Brogan still holds onto this hate and is determined to destroy Lydia and her family as retribution.

“If I exacted the revenge I’d been imagining for so long, I’d be free of her. Exercised of her ghost, the one that had been haunting me for seven years.”

Lydia remembers a sweet and caring boy who stole her heart—not this cold and calculating man who is now enacting blackmail where she is the pawn for payback in a twisted game. Brogan wants to carry out revenge yet reclaim Lydia, the only girl he has ever loved.

“There is a thin veil between love and hate.”

Like a pendulum, I shifted between Lydia and Brogan. Love. Hate. Love. Hate. The tension of these characters turned to me. I felt their angst as I warred with these words. I absorbed Brogan and Lydia, feeling their pain. The hate. The heartbreak. EVERYTHING. Brogan and Lydia love and loathe like fire and ice. Their chemistry is intense and intoxicating, breathing passion into the pages. I was on fire right along with this combative yet caring couple.

“He was going to kiss me…and I wanted him to—possibly even more than the first time…It felt like a symphony rose in every cell of my body as I became reacquainted so easily with his taste, his touch.”

Ramsay Teaser.jpg

Swoon. I’m swooning and rooting hard for this couple to be reunited. To survive this seven year war.

“There was still so much between us, so much unresolved, untold.”

Brogan and Lydia. Two soulmates that have been split in half for seven years. Despite distance, misunderstandings, and time, these two hearts still beat as one. Though their souls are lost— anchored by the painful past—and won’t be found until they are together again.

“I’d orchestrated my own demise. I was going to go down and go down hard again.”

I’m drowning to breathe, mourning that Ramsay is over, as I clutch an invisible clover while tears catapult down my cheeks. Life is moving around me but my heart is still breathing this book. This story gripped me hard and never let go as it tore open my heart like a gaping wound, gutting me.

I bawled like a baby, never quite stopping the tears that flowed. My heart shook and shattered. Through the cracks of darkness, bits of light emerged, shining a sliver of hope into my soul. Ramsay ruined me. Rescued me. Branded me. Breathed life into me. Became me. My soul is spinning, my heart is heavy, and my breath is still bated from one of the best romantic roller coasters I’ve ever experienced: Ramsay.

Mia Sheridan is one wondrous writer. A visionary. Mia Sheridan makes you a believer in love, hope, and what’s beyond the happily after. Her sensational and soul-searing stories make you believe that life is indeed bigger than this earth. It lives on in something so breathtakingly beautiful that one can only ponder its existence.

From Archer’s Voice to Ramsay, which is now my new favorite book by this author, Mia Sheridan breathes life into a story that hits straight to the heart. Her meaningful and mesmerizing words matter. Each of Mia Sheridan’s poignantly penned pieces own a piece of my soul. One of my new favorite books of all time, Ramsay is pure poignant perfection. Ramsay is a magical and meaningful modern day fairytale of epic love, the kind that lives on long after the story is over.

Lydia De Havilland is shocked when Brogan Ramsay suddenly reappears in her life. Several years before, Brogan was the son of her family’s gardener, and the boy she hurt and betrayed. But Brogan is no longer the quiet, sensitive boy she remembers. Now he’s a man—gorgeous, powerful . . . and seeking vengeance.

Brogan Ramsay can’t let go of the memory of Lydia tricking him cruelly, leaving his heart shattered and his family penniless. And now he’s back to destroy her family the way his was destroyed. There’s only one problem . . . the girl who wounded him so badly years ago is now a woman who still has the power to render him breathless.

Ramsay is the story of betrayal and wrath, of the strength of regret and the power of forgiveness. It is the story of the thin veil between love and hate, and how more often than not, when we seek to inflict pain on others, the heart we wound is our own.

THIS IS A STAND-ALONE SIGN OF LOVE NOVEL, INSPIRED BY ARIES. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Review – The Manhattan Series by Willa Thorne

Manhattan series Ebook Cover

Review graphic

It all started with his plan for revenge…

I was all in after reading that one simple line. I knew that this series would like no other that I had read and I was RIGHT! It’s sinful, sordid, sassy and simply delightful! Mason Woodward is one incredibly jaded and very angry alpha. His plan? Revenge on his “best friend” Travis by using and ruining his best friend’s little sister Jillian.

Oh, Mason. You didn’t plan for your feelings, did you?

I was the one fooled, too. I didn’t expect to fall for Mason as hard as I did. I didn’t expect Jillian to be the tough as nails bad ass with a warm heart that she became in Queen In Play. It was amazing to watch Mason truly change and embrace his love of Jillian and his hope for a future with her. This evolved Mason who would do anything and everything to protect the woman that he grew to love – I adore this Mason. By the end of the series, I was stunned and totally taken by the reformed Brit with a heart full of anger and revenge. Amazing what love can do.

Full of twists and turns, incredibly hot sex, an alpha in his element and a tremendous leading lady with more steel than I certainly gave her credit for, The Manhattan Series solidifies the amazing talent that is Willa Thorne. The story was riveting and kept me turning the pages for the the next searing kiss, the next dangerous move, the next declaration of never ending love and devotion. Willa’s secondary characters bring this story to life even more. An absolutely fantastic must read!

Review – Marry Screw Kill by Liv Morris

marry screw kill cover

Review graphic

When I saw the title for this book, I was reminded of the game we often play during FB takeovers. Marry Screw Kill. And I thought what an interesting concept for this story. It turned out to be so much more than I thought it would be. I found myself really unable to put this one down – so many twists and turns. So many moments that made me sigh and then cringe all in the same few pages. This story is definitely different from any game we’ve ever played.

Harlow Masters lost everything when she lost her mother at the hands of an angry boyfriend. She witnessed her mother’s death and awoke to find herself being cared for totally by one Dr. James Elliot. He became her everything – her food, her shelter, her protector. Her jailer. Isolating her from everyone and everything. Obsessed and unapologetic. His own little sex kitten. He plans to marry the much younger Harlow but Harlow knows that things are not right. She’s lost and rootless. And then someone comes along who will change everything.

Enter Sinclair Elliott. Nephew to James and a future doctor himself. When he meets Harlow his whole world, his purpose, his center changes and shifts. He sees James for who he is – a manipulator and captor of a beautiful soul. Sin and Harlow feel an instant connection and fight what they know they shouldn’t have. But nothing stops the course of love, not even an uncle who is determined to have his way.

I ran the gamut of emotions while reading MSK. Sinclair is just that – sin. But he is sexy, sincere and devoted to Harlow. His life changed and now he is determined to be the man that his patients, his friends and Harlow need him to be. Harlow made me so angry on the one hand and then made me shed anguished tears on the other. In the end she made me so proud. James… Liv Morris made this man such the villian. He disgusted me with his sadistic actions and made my sin crawl. But I wanted more. I wanted to know more about him, why he was the way he was.

I enjoyed my first read from Liv Morris very much. I’m looking forward to reading more from this amazingly talented lady. FANTASTIC, LIV!

Review – Lovegame by Tracy Wolff

Lovegame, is a highly seductive, sensuously sexy read from Tracy Wolff.

This book is OFF THE CHARTS HOT! The blistering heat between Ian and Veronica is hotter than a burning fire. Together they are so sexy, so intense. They feed off each other perfectly.

Deep, dark, devastating secrets twist themselves through Lovegame. From start to finish, Tracy adds in so much suspense, that leaves you sat on the edge of your seat.

Lovegame is a fast paced, read. One I devoured in one sitting. While I felt the connection between the two characters, I didn’t fully connect with them individually.

Overall Lovegame is a highly addictive read, filled with burning passion and sex mixed with the most devastating secrets and lies.

4 Sexy, Suspenseful stars..

True Crime novelist Ian Sharpe has spent his career writing about serial killers for very personal reasons. For his latest exposé, he is taking on the sadistic madman known as the Red Ribbon Strangler, and when his research leads him to Hollywood’s most private and provocative actress, he will break every rule to uncover her truth.
The daughter of one of Hollywood’s golden couples, chased by paparazzi and treated as a commodity her entire life, Veronica Romero wields her sex appeal like a weapon. She expects Ian to be as easy to control as every other man she’s ever known. But from the beginning, he refuses to fall into line. Mysterious and cool, challenging and just a little bit dangerous, Ian somehow makes her feel safe—even as he digs into the deepest secrets of her life and pushes her to the breaking point.
As raw ecstasy gives way to agonized truths, their dark obsession exposes secrets that have been buried for far too long. Ian wants to tear down her walls and heal the sensual woman underneath. But if Veronica’s learned anything, it’s that the line between pleasure and pain is a narrow one—and when caught between them the only thing that matters is how you play the game.

Review – Revenge by CA Harms

It’s was what we wanted and my word did we get it! This book is an outstanding way to end the series. Twisty, thrilling and enthralling CA Harms has well and truly rounded off this series better than I EVER could have imagined!

Josh & Gabby’s relationship is put to the test with bonds stretched. The internal and external struggles that both characters go through during this book is at times, heart breaking. I really felt for Gabby in this book.

As with the previous instalments, twists and turns plague the story line, still I tried to guess what was going to happen and I can honestly say I NEVER figured it out. My heart pounded so hard throughout. The fast, thrilling pace continues and gives way to a truly addictive ending.

4.5 spectacular series finale stars.

Living in fear was what they were all doing.
It was no longer just the life of the woman he loved that was in danger, but also the life of their unborn child. The undercover case Josh led was now threatening to take away his true happiness. And he must find a way to keep his family safe from the hands of evil.

Soon Leo would finally get the chance to make them pay for ruining his life.

His revenge was coming, and there was no one who could stop it.

The devil is near and Gabby is his target….

And he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

The count down has begun.

There’s nowhere to hide.

They will all pay.

Review – Cherry Popper by Jade Sinner

Cherry Popper by Jade Sinner

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sometimes there is a pesky itch that can only be scratched hard with a steamy quickie. Something fast, fire-hot, and fantastic. A super sexy session in the sheets that is short but oh-so-satisfying. Or a short story that you can rapidly devour like a delicious and decadent dessert. Cherry Popper is that dessert with whipped cream, sprinkles, and, of course, cherries.

If I want an enticing escape in mere minutes, I can count on Jade Sinner to deliver fast fulfillment with pages that peel off panties and penetrate the heart, climaxing right to that sweet spot, and finally basking in the glow of a happily ever after. Cherry Popper is pure pulse-pounding pleasure packed in a sweet and sexy short story that satisfies in a heartbeat. Instant gratification guaranteed.

There is nothing more special and sweet than a friends-to-lovers romance. Add the forbidden element of the older brother’s best friend as the lover and it is even sweeter. Cherry Popper has ALL the story succulence: friends-to-lovers, forbidden, sexy, and sweet! It’s perfect balance of edge and emotion mixed in with history.

Ben has had a crush on his best friend’s little sister, Emma, for as long as he remember.

“Emma Briggs. Within my reach yet completely unobtainable.”

This man is super HOT! Dark-haired, dark-eyed, tall, and muscular with the V that points to his big D. Ben is ALL man. Sex-on-a-stick deliciousness.

Ben’s dirty and delicious words when imagining just how he would pop Emma’s cherry gave me a head-to-toe fever. SCORCHING!

“I spent all night imagining her legs wrapped around me while I pound my cock into her tight, wet pussy.”

Beautiful Emma with her long dark hair, blue eyes, curves, and mile-long legs has been waiting her whole life for Ben to finally notice her as more than his best friend’s little sister.

“Ben Westbrook. I have loved that man my entire life.”

Ben is ready to pop Emma’s cherry so hard that it bursts with the Ben effect.

“Desire is telling me to do it—to pop her cherry. It would be so easy to give in and take her because she’ll feel so good.”

Though obstacles like age, Emma’s older brother who also Ben’s best friend, and more threaten to stop his cherry popping parade.

I only had a short book date with Ben and Emma but they won me over quickly. The all-consuming alpha and reformed man whore, Ben, and the adoring Emma. Their chemistry is electric and there is so much heat and heart between them.

Two romance authors bled into one power pack called Jade Sinner. Who is this Jade Sinner who’s hit the romance world like a storm with spicy and seductive little numbers that work quickly to penetrate with passion and pure pleasure?!? This dynamic duo has banged out a short story packed with steam, and it would be a sin not to meet this team’s wonderful work.

My best friend’s little sister. That’s all Emma Briggs is to me.
I keep trying to convince myself that statement is true but it’s a lie.

It’s her face I see every time I close my eyes.

It’s her touch I yearn to feel.

It’s her lips I long to kiss.

It’s her cherry I want to pop.

We were separated by time and distance, but now she’s back in my life. And everything has changed.

Every. Thing.

She’s no longer that kid tagging along behind me. The special bond I’ve shared with her—for as long as I can remember—has become something so different. Something so forbidden. Something so hot.

Desire is telling me to do it—to pop her cherry. It would be so easy to give in and take her because she’ll feel so good.

My best friend’s little sister is all grown up. And I want her.

She. Will. Be. Mine.

Each novella in The Reckless Series is about a different couple and can be read as a stand-alone, although reading in order is highly recommended. You will find spoilers in the epilogues if you choose to read out of order.
