I’m a such a sucker for second chance romance. This was perfect and introduced to another set of fantastic characters in this new series. This series is going to burn, burn, burn the pages if Ben Hollander and Summer Michelle are any indication of what is coming!

Ben and Summer met when he worked security for the TV musical competition that Summer was a contestant for. Beautiful, talented and just down to Earth, Ben finds himself falling for the small town girl and Summer certainly fills the same. Still petty jealousies from another contestant find Summer and Ben’s relationship outed and Ben finds himself without a job. As much as she wants Ben and is willing to leave the competition to be with him, Summer wants a shot at the career she has always dreamed of. Ben leaves and tries to find a way to put his past behind him.

But the past is never far behind.

When Summer begins receiving death threats while on a promotional tour, Ben finds himself face to face with the beautiful star that broke his heart but still has it in her hands. He’s determined to keep to business and keep her safe. Nothing more. Let the fireworks begin! Oh, Ben and Summer are so good together! No matter how much they want to keep things professional between them, there’s no fighting chemistry between these two. There’s also no way to deny just how much danger Summer is in.

This was sexy and fun! A great read and a wonderful beginning to another amazing series. After getting a brief glimpse into the group of bodyguards that Ben calls family, this series is certainly one we don’t want to miss.
