My rating is 6 out of 5 but no number is enough!!
There really aren’t enough stars for this book. By far this is the best book I’ve read all year, and I dont say that lightly.
This book was perfect in every way. Am I surprised? NO! because this author is amazing and I expect nothing less.
Emotional, angsty, sexy, anger, sadness, hate, love. These words describe this book. I literally had pains in my chest at many points throughout this journey. Make sure to have tissues because I ugly cried several times throughout and I don’t do that often. Make sure you have time to sit and read the whole book because I literally just read this rather long and thorough book in one sitting.
Ashley winds up on a date from hell and when a sexy man happens to walk by he is all of a sudden her husband. So they seal the deal many times overnight. She gives him her number and he promises to come to New York next weekend. Those plans are foiled and he loses her for years. Neither of them knew each others names to try to locate each other.
5 years later Ashley make the move to do her final internship under a well known and respected surgeon. What she doesn’t bargain for is that man to be the Dr. Stanton. Now all of her secrets are about to bite her in the butt.
That is all I will give you about the book because there so many twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting. It really is an amazing story.
