My heart wasn’t ready for this.
My soul wasn’t prepared to be shattered.
This journey with Vi and Corbin was not easy for me…. but oh. Oh, it was worth it. Every laugh. Every sobbing tear. Every swoon worthy scene. Every utterly sexy word and command from Corbin’s mouth. Every show of strength and tenacity from Vi.
It was worth it. Truth Revealed is perfection.
It’s been a decade since Vi and Corbin have divorced. Ten years since a lie destroyed everything that ever mattered to the both of them. They have both managed to move on. But while some things have changed, some things have stayed the same. Corbin and Vi can’t let each other go. They aren’t far from each other’s thoughts. So have they really moved on? It seems they haven’t. Clearly for Vi there can never be anyone that compares to the truest love of her life. Corbin still claims his little wife. He seeths at the thought of anyone touching her.
Opportunities arise. Things are about to change and they will never be the same once the truth of the last ten years is revealed.
I read Truth with my heart in my throat. There were plenty of late nights with Vi and Corbin. This book is so full of angst, heartbreak, loss… all of that, yes. But there is tremendous healing, strength and powerful enlightening moments. True love still shining just as bright as ever. The story is so well paced, so incredibly moving. I have never known a couple like these two. Their love story is so real. This isn’t just a story… could be me or you. So many touching moments, still so many belly laughs. And holy smokes! Corbin is the master of his sexual prowess. That hasn’t changed in ten years. If anything it’s even hotter! Even sexier. This man sent chills up my spine and had me running for a fan! He is sex walking. Then there’s Vi. So strong, so resilient. She’s a survivor and managed to take her horrible ordeal and turn it into something that empowered her. Damn if she didn’t make me cheer out loud for her throughout this entire story. She is Belle, Wonder Woman and Lois Lane all rolled into one!
I cannot begin to tell Kayla how much this book – in fact, this duet – meant to me. It is beautifully written, lovingly researched. It shows in every word that I read. It shows in how Vi and Corbin are still with me and how I still message Kayla to tell her how much I miss them. This is one duet you cannot miss. It is a must read! Thank you, Kayla, for letting me be a part of Vi and Corbin’s story.
Six Incredible Stars!
It’s been a decade since I divorced the love of my life, after her confession while I was deployed.
Ten years since I spoke to Vi, my soul mate, the girl who had brought me to life only to stab me in the heart, sending me into an even darker state than where I was before I met her.
Ten years, I’ve been watching her from afar, keeping tabs.
After a decade in the Army, two Purple Hearts and a Medal of Honor under my belt, I was kicked out with an honorable discharge, knowing no other skill than One Shot One Kill. Two years later, I’m part of a group of mercenaries who carry out justice. Criminals who hide behind their fancy lawyers and power—we take care of them and make it all look like karma. And with intel from our founder, Dr. Walker, a therapist with a long list of predators whose victims were too scared to turn them in, work is plenty and fulfilling.
Until Vi begins her sessions and I discover the reality I’ve lived the past ten years was nothing but a lie, when the truth is revealed.

KD Robichaux wanted to be a romance author since the first time she picked up her mom’s Sandra Brown books at the ripe old age of twelve. She went to college to become a writer, but then married and had babies. Putting her dream job on hold to raise her family as a stay at home mom, who read entirely too much, she created a blog where she could keep her family and friends up-to-date on all the hottest reads. From there, by word of mouth, her blog took off and she began using her hard-earned degree as a Senior Editor for Hot Tree Editing. When her kids started school, and with the encouragement from her many author friends, she finally sat down and started working on her first series, The Blogger Diaries, her very own real life romance.
