Review- Hard Hitter by Sarina Bowen

5 stars

Holy hot hockey player. How can you not fall in love with a hockey player that is usually closed off to everyone, but the minute he opens himself up to the one woman who has taken up residence in his soul, his world is flipped upside down?

Patrick is the captain of the team. He opens up to no one. He let’s no one touch him. He has never had any of the team to his place. He usually skips out of everything early. When he is injured pretty badly after the years of fights catching up to him, he makes a terrible spur of the moment decision that could change his life forever.

Ari is the team massage therapist and yoga instructor. She has just gotten out of an 8 year relationship with an abusive ex. He is now threatening her in other ways. Before long Ari needs all the assistance she can get. She is just afraid to trust herself with another relationship.
Ari and Patrick can’t fight the sexual chemistry that is brewing between them. They are so hot together that I’m surprised they didn’t burn the house down. They will soon have both of their pasts breathing down their necks and the only ones that can save them is each other.
This was such a good book. I couldn’t put it down. I am so excited for book 3.

It’s here! Hard Hitter is live. Let the hotness begin. 🙂
